The worst car you've ever driven...
Discussion
The only cars I've really hated have been produced within the last 10 years by either Citroen or Peugeot.
Back in 2008 we got a load of pool cars at work and one was a Peugeot 207. I've never driven a car with such vague steering feel, the steering wheel actually felt very disconnected to the front wheels!
More recently we've got a C3 diesel auto which I can only assume Citroen didn't test drive prior to releasing. The auto box has a complete mind of its own and up steepish hills, will randomly stop the car, drop into first and rev the knackers off the thing setting off again!

Either the completely knackered 1.2l Seat Ibiza I was given whilst my car was having a new air conditioning compressor fitted, which struggled to maintain motorway speeds for the entirety of the 400 mile round trip I needed to make in it and pulled so violently to the left that I ended up with cramp the whole way down my right arm after about an hour.
Or...
The diesel Peugeot 206 which was pretty terrible even before it spontaneously burst into flames.

Micra K11 1.0. Gutless, bouncy, nasty inside and felt like the front wheels were connected to the steering wheel via jelly.
Its no wonder they're always driven so slowly - they just can't go any faster!
Completely agree and I had one as a courtesy car and I couldn't wait to hand it back, I am shocked as to why anyone would put themselves through the pain of owning one, dreadful things. Its no wonder they're always driven so slowly - they just can't go any faster!

Another corsa 1.0l stbox here, so bad i thought it was broken.
That narrowly beats the 1.6 petrol ford engines fitted to the mk2 focus. Revving the jingos off the thing to get it to move anywhere.
Isn't a bad engine, just fitted to a chubby car with gearing that was way too long. Same with the 1.25 engine in the MK6/7 Fiesta, way too slow but a great engine in the MK4/5.That narrowly beats the 1.6 petrol ford engines fitted to the mk2 focus. Revving the jingos off the thing to get it to move anywhere.
Ford tried making it better with ti-vct but just ended up making it miles more thirsty and not much more powerful.

Hyundai Accent courtesy car I was given about ten years ago. A three door version of this. Didn't actually look terrible imo, but felt like it belonged in the 80's and everything felt quite spongy.
I bought the Mrs a nearly new one of these 12 years ago. Despite it being a range topping CDX model, she used it for a week and then refused to drive it again.I had to agree with her though, it was utterly dreadful
1.4 i30, clutch so light and springy you can't feel the engagement point, not enough power to do anything really. Suspension is waaay to wallowy, it's supremely comfortable but has not much else going for it.
some sort of small petrol Astra (most recent shape) - lovely interior, gutless engine, I think it may have been an ecowhatever 3cyl turbo, certainly didn't feel the turbo but did have a distinct 3cyl noise to it.

without question.
SO SO dull
If a dull car is the worst you have driven, then you've either driven very few, are being silly or tad rather too pretentious.without question.
SO SO dull
a 2013 Toyota Auris hire car...the only car that's ever made me feel sick as the driver, the ride was absolutely rotten.
It only had a few hundred miles on it so wouldn't have thought there was anything wrong with it but I found myself constantly thinking about where I would have a tactical chunder when it came down to it.

It's a close one, but probably an Audi A3 1.4T with 150bhp. I hated all of the major controls, and some of the minor ones too.
Other dishonourable mentions:
Other dishonourable mentions:
- VW Passat 1.9TDI 104?bhp, electronic handbrake, daft keyless thing that plugged into the dash. It typified everything that I hated about modern cars at the time
- Every other VW or Audi product that I've ever driven
- Vauxhall Astra Mk6 1.6T 180bhp (lardy, thirsty, horrible)
- Peugeot 206 1.4 8v (ex gfs car), and most modern PSA cars
- Toyota Yaris Mk2 (ex gfs car)
I had a P12 Primera as a hire car for a few months whilst I waited for a new company car to arrive.
However small, I feel like I am able to find something positive to say about every other car I have ever owned or driven... but not this. The interior was such a sad place to be and the 1.8 16V engine delivered power in the most dull way possible. Here is what Wikipedia says about the engine technology:
The engine is tuned to achieve most of its torque at low revs at the expense of raw power at high revs, making the engine very responsive in day-to-day driving.
