It'll also feel quite solid when your daughter impacts it in an accident because she replaced the standard steering wheel with one that doesn't have an airbag. If she really wants a purple wheel, take the standard one off and get it re-trimmed in purple alcantara or something, it'll look 100x better than that rubbish, probably cost less and won't lose the safety features as well 
Has she spoken to her insurers and told them she's removing the standard safety features? I expect they won't be too keen on it...WarnieV6GT said:
