The wife wants another kid rolleyes. I've flat out said 'no' for several years now, with 3 already and our eldest just turned 13 (help me lord). However, she has given me carte blanche on purchasing a 'car' that will seat 6 comfortably. I've got a few in mind, but the basic criteria is:

- 6+ seats
- Luxurious (or at least somewhere close)
- Roaring V8
- Semi-unique (Not a BMW, Audi, VW, Volvo, Range Rover...)
- Left or right hooker.
- Lets say a budget of 60k

So far I have in my sights:

Mercedes GL63 AMG
Chevrolet Tahoe
Porsche Cayenne Turbo
Lexus LX570 (if i could ever find one)
Dodge Durango HEMI

What gems am I missing?

Land Rover Defender.

Kids might be sideways.......

Luxurious is... erm... yes... a matter of perspective.

Some US Very Big SUV's
eg Cadillac Escalade.

I wouldn't accept a kid you don't want for permission to buy a car.

Absolutely! It's clear you don't want it and you're just succumbing to years of pestering frown

Well... I would suggest a big telly, with Sky, Netflix and Amazon Prime to keep the OP occupied.

Apparently... he has other options to pass his time smile

Surely you can't get better than Merc R500 or R63 if you want unique. In before someone says it's ugly, he didn't say it has to look good.

Do they come in more than 5 seater? I had a quick look at them on ebay a while back and could only see what looked like 5's

It's got that special something hasn't it LOL. Interior (if you get the loaded version) and ride quality is on another level though, if you can ignore the ugliness.

I think I'd rather crash over bumps than make other people crash looking at my ugly Merc tongue out

That's mighty good of her to allow you to get a 6 seats vehicle for soon to be 6 of you! Tell her you will make do with your current 5 seater if you want a fun bit of banter. (But don't get carried away!)
