Worst was the now ex girlfriend, always was a back seat driver, but when I first took her out in the Chimaera and gave it a bootfull in second she went ape, didn't like the way her tummy went all funny, didn't like being pinned back in the seat, and apparently it was way too loud biggrin She was still tearing me a new one five minutes later...

Best is one of my mates who just grins stupidly most of the time he's in the car and giggles like a girl when I drop a couple of gears and floor it....

(All of the above undertaken when safe to do so and within the applicable speed limits) biggrin

Worst, apart from female relations, especially the 1s you marry, are youngish dogs. Bark bark bark are we nearly there yet bark bark bark.

Best, same dogs 5 years later, been there, seen that, wait patiently until the door gets opened for them like they are royalty.

Worst is my wife.

Just to confirm, I don't speed or yank the wheel over in turns. But some of her efforts are holding on to the arm rest and door pulls if we go round bends, exaggerated holding of the dash under breaking, when overtaking she leans over and looks at the speedometer, and everything that happens on the road is my fault. Recently going round a bend, a bus is over the white line on my side, I slow and honk the horn, it's my fault I should have stopped?

I decided to drive through some back country roads yesterday, she huffed, I asked whats the matter, 'I don't like these roads'.

She saps the fun from most things.

Or maybe take her feelings in to consideration? She is your wife after all.

Worst passenger I ever had was an old school friend who was used to Datsun 120Ys. Ever extending an engine beyond 3,000rpm would induce white knuckles and a look of terror.

Best was my Mum. She never learnt to drive but after a lifetime of pottering around next to my Dad in his various mundane motors, whenever I took her out on her own she'd always want to go faster - so I did, I always did what my Mum told me to do...

Worst was my Dad. 45mph was the top speed when he drove. When a passenger he often suffered from travel sickness so I never drove fast with him in the car.

Took him out for the a session at the last PHSS at Silverstone. Had a slight spin after a few laps, he soils himself and has to be dropped back at the pits...
I was a good passenger up until that day! A slight spin is really pushing it wink

I hate anyone that feels that they need to use all of their strength to close the door.
But how else will their passengers hear the satisfying thump of their door closing
They can donwhat they want to their own car, it's my doors I get annoyed about.

The number of times I've said, "DON'T ... slam the door ..."

Kids, who would have them, eh?

Two for me, one was my now late grandmother who's head used to flop back under acceleration and then used to fall forward under braking.

The other is my dear sister who is an Advanced Motorist, and looks down on every other motorist as an absolute menace and complete danger to life and limb including me, ME, her dear brother who is a typical Pistonheads Driving God Dog!
