French sportscars are limited indeed, but below are a few others :

Delachapelle Roadster :
- the engine comes from Peugeot, different ratings were available, from 135 to 210bhp (but most of them were 167bhp ratings, same as in Peugeot 306 S16).

Vaillante Grand Defi:
- based on the Hommell Barquette, 15 were produced in total

Mega Track (already mentionned) :

Mega Monte-Carlo (already mentionned) :

Delavilla R1
- based on a Porsche Cayman

Delavilla SpeedRoad / VRS :
- based on a Porsche 997
Thank you very much!

The De La Chapelle Roadster is beautiful!

Not really unknown, but maybe needs to be unforgotten... Delahaye, any of their coupe's or convertibles will do. Here's one for starters

WM a small French team that entered Le Mans in 87,88,89 with a car powered by a twin turbo Peugeot V6.
They did not get any race results but did achieve the fastest speed of 252mph down the Mulsanne straight.

The name of the team is Welter Racing and they still exist. They now produce green technology race cars.

They will compete in the Le Mans 2017 with the WR Bio-Méthane.

Semi (?) on topic for the (lovely!) thread, but if anyone is in the area of Romorantin [1] the Musée Matra [2] is well worth the detour IMO. Not huge, but well set up and of course some choice vehicles smile.
