Or to look at it another way, bikes have been racing at the TT for over a 100 years and have had extensive practice/development and in the few years of the Subaru being there it's already surpassed most of the field! It only took the bikes about 90 years to do a 130mph run!
Joking aside the Impreza has shown that a fairly modest performing car can put in fast times around the course which many of the bike community including yourself Worus thought wasn't possible.
Anyway, the Prodrive twitter feed is reporting the next Impreza run to be around 5.30 this afternoon, good luck!

The bikes are just getting away now he might not get his final lap, despite that it's been a great effort by Prodrive & MH but I wouldn't call the car they're using as a modest effort it's a full WRC with the added garnish of Active Aero an engine that's in the 630-680bhp zone (according to Autocar they wound it up from the 600bhp for the 128mph lap) which makes it far from modest, MH reckons he has the DRS activated for 40% of the lap.Joking aside the Impreza has shown that a fairly modest performing car can put in fast times around the course which many of the bike community including yourself Worus thought wasn't possible.

The car is modest in its overall performance vs other race cars. There's a lot of cars out there that are a huge amount faster than the Impreza. I'd agree though, its been an amazing effort given how much straight line performance the car gives away to the bikes. I'm a huge fan of Prodrive (my car is a Prodrive edition) and MH for his capability.
Thanks for the update, lets hope he gets a run in!

Hi bud, I was having a little bit of fun with Mr Wormus by moving the facts around to suit the car. Its a way of offering a little balance to what has been a lot of negative posts. I really love watching the bikes and have attended previously and they deserve the respect they get in the same way as MH does.
