RE: Secrets of Subaru's IoM TT record car
Discussion
Nailing my colours to the mast, I have to say having watched this: https://youtu.be/BquavjNg5H0 I have so much respect for what MH & Subaru have achieved. It's completely in the spirit of the TT, just a different type of vehicle. Hope they come back next year.

That's a great video! It all seemed pretty calm. I didn't really see anything there that a properly fast car wouldn't go much much faster than that time.

You don't think the Subaru was "properly fast"? What car do you suggest that would be significantly quicker than the Subaru but still capable of hopping up and down kerbs etc?It all seemed pretty calm. I think you've misread what he said. Sounds as though he means that something with more BHP wouldn't be able to go quicker.
Yeah that's what he's trying to say I think. Although I disagree, BHP is the limiting factor and Higgins even says it himself during the video. 20/25mph down on the bikes on the longer straights, will take a considerable amount more power to come close though.
