C&SC 'Century of Supercars' poll closing soon
Bored on the Bank Holiday? Now's the last chance to vote for your favourite supercars!
You may remember back in June the reader poll for this year's event was launched, aiming to find the publilc's favourite from a century of supercars. Plenty of votes have been cast already but, with the poll only open until the end of August, now's your final opportunity to enter! There are more details below on the cars you can vote for and the show itself, so don't miss the chance. There are a few tough decisions to make...
ORIGINAL STORY 10/06/2016:
Following last year's hot hatch draw, the 2016 show celebrates a century of supercars. The expert panel of C&SC judges have picked three supercars from each era (pre-1914, 1914-1929 and then the decades) that they believe best represent the genre. There are the usual suspects in the list - Mercedes Gullwing, Lamborghini Miura, Ferrari F40, McLaren F1 - but also some you may not have considered as well, like the De Tomaso Mangusta, Koenigsegg CCX and Porsche 911 Turbo. As always there will be cars missing that many feel should be included - where's the Diablo? Where's the Carrera GT? Where's the Cizeta V16T? We're only slightly joking on the last one, but we'll leave the more detailed discussion to you...
To vote in the poll, see the new Classic & Sports Car show website. Once the initial winners from each era are settled on, there will be another vote during September to find the public's greatest supercar. All the finalists will be exhibited at Alexandra Palace at the end of October, where the winner will be announced.

Besides, how do I know that by doing a blanket opt out of (all?) Haymarket marketing via an unrelated form that I will still get any PH stuff that I have previously agreed to and am happy to keep receiving?
A hot mess.
Oh, and F1 and anyone who says different is a big poo-poo pants
Definition of a Barchetta is an open car.
Don't ask me how I know....
p.s. Barchetta actually means "small boat" which is a nice way of describing such a car
