Will be driving up from Cornwall on the Friday, although won't be camping. How secure is venue? Will the cars be left or do we remove them at the end of the day?

Anyone else heading up from the SW?

Are you taking the GT3? We're booked into hotel a couple of miles from show venue and imagine we will pass Bristol around 7 - 7.30pm.

Just checking in to see if anyone has received any further information yet?

I've got a couple of days booked off and my fairy liquid and scouring pads ready to get the car nice and shiny ready.

Not yet, I dropped an email to John and he responded that we're due to get the final info early this week.

Are folk driving to the event or is anybody trailering their car?

Mine is actually still in the bodyshop after I noticed a 'little bubbling' a few weeks back. I have been promised it back this week in time for the show!

Cool Thanks for confirming. I'm driving, but its also my daily! I have asked John if there is likely to be a facility for giving the car a quick spray down, but I'm hoping it Will be just a case of getting some dead bugs and dust off then a once over with an old dish rag once we're parked.

I'm driving up on Friday so probably going to give car a wash on Thursday afternoon, assuming it's not raining. Anyone seen forecast for the weekend?

Hopefully the weather will be nice. It's a good 400 mile drive for me to get to Donington.

I was going to trailer the car but if I can give it a clean there I'll just drive the old girl down. It'll probably do it some good to get a good run out!

I'll certainly have a box of cloths and quick detailer kind off stuff in the car, welcome to use whatever you need. I'll be the short fat beardy one with the noisy black van!

That's very kind of you!

I'll stick a damp shammy and a bucket in the boot of the 309.

I'm looking forward to coming down and meeting everybody.

I can't really be of any help as I'm not UK based. But just dropped in to say that it would be disappointing if a TVR was not down for this to represent PH!! Is there at least one in?

I'm in two minds currently - I have found my (heavily dust coated) tent, and a can of fabisil and am prepared for that eventuality, however a hotel is still very much on my radar!

Pros: No need to drive offsite, a lot cheaper, and cheaper means more beer tokens, and a decent bottle of single malt around a campsite is always a good thing.

Cons: It's tenting, I have a fairly unpleasant shoulder injury and I'm not sure an airbed will quite cut it for a good nights sleep, a hotel sometimes has a good selection of single malts, it's tenting!

I'll stick a tent in the car, and play by ear depending on weather I think.
