I never begrudge decent tyres and premium fuel (or indeed oil, brake fluid, etc.). I also never begrudge having "the guy" do specific jobs at a premium (so suspension setup from specialist A, servicing from specialist B, even replacing the windscreen by specialist C).

Really, the only things that I truly begrudge with it are the cost of road tax, the price of main dealer labour (hence they literally get book stamping services and nothing else) and the cost of certain parts which cost way more than I can conceivably imagine they should (plastic brackets for heat shields at 3 figure sums and things like that).

V Power - call me a sucker but I actually believe the hype about it keeping the engine 'cleaner'

Never grudge buying anything for the Panda because of the comedy prices for everything. Not so with the T5 van, those 5 cylinder parts are especially nippy!

Buying tyres that have worn out is never a joy, but I don't begrudge it. I actively enjoy spending money on suspension work, particularly replacing worn dampers, because the car is so much better to drive afterwards you feel like you've gotten something back.

I suppose I don't really mind any of it as long as it's routine/preventative maintenance. I do get fked off when a st quality component fails and then replacing it becomes an ordeal because of poor accessibility or st quality fittings and fastenings being corroded.

Sad to admit, but anything shiny under the bonnet. Normally expensive, has absolutely no effect on performance or economy, usually adds more weight, but still makes me happy when I look in there!

Provided I've had the satisfaction of doing the work myself I treat my car to new parts like a woman treats herself to shoes and handbags

Like many have replied, consumable items I don't begrudge paying for, especially high consumable like wipers. I change them every year regardless, and same goes for buying washer fluid, as the car is parked in a fairly dirty environment I always use loads of fluid when getting in after work as the screen is covered in bird turds so I use stuff that doesn't smear, Holts seems to work best for me.
Tyres as well, despite the car now being a bit of a shed, I tend not to compromise on tyres and opt for decent stuff, at the moment it's shod in a set of Pirellis, and as the wife drives it as well I'd rather have something half decent, however if it was my own it would have a set of mid range.

There is a certain satisfaction gained by replacing worn out items with a quality or half decent one. I do tend to be mechanically sympathetic even with my sheds, using half decent oil and filters etc.

Tyres & servicing I have no problem spending money to do them 'right', with mid to high end tyres and decent oils etc.

Hate spending money on stuff for pure aesthetics, door dings, scuffs and bumps tend to just get ignored unless I can easily sort them myself.

tyres and oil, and fuel.
These, along with some nice exhausts of course.
