Mate of mine has a P400 Muira in that colour scheme, looks utterly fantastic. Unlike that Aventador!

His looks like this

Why not try harder to pay homage to it? Retro Mirrors? Seats? Interior trim? Wheels? Lights?
Something like this?

I will never understand why they never made this.

Celebrating a beautiful, curvaceous Miura with an angular origami lump. Yeah, I see what you tried to do there.

Fail.
+ 1 Why are people still buying Lambo's?

Because they like them and wish to own one.

I agree with the point above about the 2 Lotus being Ok because they were based on racing car paint schemes. But this is tragic. They know the old car is much more beautiful and instead of trying to match it, they just copy the colours.

Let's be honest, Lamborghini are turning into Audi's in-house Mansory - instead of making cars with genuine innovation they are using vinyl and tupperware to make garish tat which is marked-up to the sky and sold to tasteless pricks.

I accidentally ended-up listening to the Centenario presentation at Geneva and it boggled my mind, they talked about it's tech as-if they'd invented 100s of new things, rather than cobbling existing stuff into the car for no reason other than ticking boxes - it was staggeringly embarassing - the car is embarrasing (not as bad as their last attempt but still tacky as fk)

I think the chances of Lambo making a genuinely innovative supercar are now zero - they will make something, it will be outlandish and noisy but it won't be class-leading anything.

Huracan vs 488 - 488 - hell even the 458 is in another sport =- R8 may even factor-in here (and there's a clue where the problem is)

Aventador vs F12 - Chris Harris said of the F12 "an Aventador wouldn't see where it went - no reason to look at one other than to look at one"

Shame but that's what happens when you become a brand - an idea - see also Bentley

craptastic

They should have done a Carabo homage

PS you can probably guess what car that morphed into ....

I quite like that. Wouldn't ever buy one though. Should I ever be able to afford one. Which is looking unlikely.

When he said it, the SV didn't exist - nor did the F12 TDF for that matter...

I'm not even going to start with the irrelevance of a 'Ring laptime - let alone one as dubious as that...

Tbf Lambos have always been a bit cruder than Ferraris but if I was in the market for a supercar and not a track day wannabe, I'd likely take a Lambo.
