Best/ most interesting automotive glasswork
Discussion
Just musing that wrap around rear tailgates were all the rage in the late 80's to mid 90's, though they have sadly disappeared today.
A personal favourite;
VX Tigra (shame about the rest of the car, but just look at that wrap around screen!)
Anyone have other examples of interesting glazing on cars? Can't think of regular production car with anything vaguely adventurous these days.

I thought they were a good looking little car for the target market, and they seemed to sell in numbers because for a while they were everywhere. Honestly cannot remember the last time I saw one though and the 2nd one didn't seem to ever become quite as common.A personal favourite;

There was an interesting show car at the 1982 Birmingham motorshow, a take on of the 635csi with a wonderful full glass electronic roof. It's that long ago I can't remember too much about it. I've researched and found nothing on the internet.
Shame, a blot on my memory from a 9 year olds eyes.

'66 Barracuda
C4 Corvette
62 Chevy, known as the "bubbletop"
Most mid 50s on US cars had wrap around glass,
55 Chevy
55 Buick - a bit more upmarket, so gets rear curved glass too
If we're allowed to cheat and talk perspex, Ed Roth did some very odd things in the 60s
Beatnik Bandit
Orbitron
