Anyone used a professional car storage company?

I may need to put a car away in professional storage but have not done this before. What are the pitfalls and things to be aware of?

Some concerns I have include around insurance liability and if the company becomes insolvent, will it be clear that the cars are not their assets?

Lastly, anyone have any recommendations for companies? I am in Hertfordshire but happy to travel.

Not sure of the details but a friend uses Herts Classic Car storage near Datchworth and says it's good.

I know Grange Aston Martin in WGC use it too if that gives you any more confidence.

SidewaysSi - With where you're located...Grange is a good calll - If you get stuck, drop me a message...I know other firms local to you that you can use.

But either way...You'll be protected with them (In that their service & premises are lovely, their insurance cover is more than adequate (As long as your car is still insured too when it arrives) - & lastly, documentation will be in place from both yours/their side which will confirm the vehicle is yours & not theres so worst case it's clear it's not their property.
