Concave grilles are for Maseratis.
Word of warning, don't go to the Mercedes GTR thread hehe
That's convex and looks just like the Maserati grilles on the 2010ish Quattroporte S models. Not sure if there are any other concave grilles out there like the Quattroporte GTS from the same years and the GranTurismo and some of the old school Maseratis?

Looks like a decent-enough boot to me.

But yes, space is compromised considering the overall external size. I expect it's two things: 1) Cabin space and 2) hybrid gubbins eating up the under-floor area.

The sloped rear window might diddle "useful" capacity though, but that is certainly a good sized boot.

I really like these, yes

Super-stressed 4 cyl petrol engine turns out to be horrid. No surprises there!

I'd agree there - ultimate wardrobe-shifting capacity is reduced, but still very usable I'd say.

Just seen Volvo testing it in the Sierra Nevada. Saw 3 DB11s up there too and a Maybach S class. Test mules everywhere

Does anyone know if they'll be bringing the T5 and/or T6 petrol models to the UK? Dad wouldn't mind one of these in a few years but T8 is unnecessary and he doesn't like diesel.

The fact it's a turbo four pot doesn't bother me at all, I highly doubt the engine is all that 'stressed'. Generally engineering departments design things to be fairly resilient, if it's operating at the limit then it wouldn't be fit for purpose and probably wouldn't be released.

I'm wondering the same. I think AWD is unnecessary so a FWD T5 (240bhp) would seem a good sweet spot. Mine you an AWD T6 with 320bhp or so could be a fast and discrete way to get around!

I imagine Volvo UK will be a bit wary of importing petrols considering the miniscule numbers of P3 V70 and S80s they managed to sell with anything other than a diesel, and they had a fantastic range of petrol engines on offer too. Forgetting the boring 2.0 ford 4 pot they had a 230bhp LPT I5, a much underrated NASP 3.2 I6 with 240bhp, a turbocharged 3.0 I6 with 280bhp and later 305bhp, and in the S80 the 310bhp V8. They even offered later models badged as T5 with that 240bhp Ford I4 that's ended up everywhere. All of them sold in tiny, tiny numbers. Hopefully the forthcoming changes to VED will help get people back into petrol cars.
