tvr drive it day
Discussion
The aim of the day is to get as many TVRs out and about on the roads, whether it is just a short trip to the local shop, a full run out organised with friends or by your local region; every TVR out in the open counts.
You can still join in even if your TVR is currently off the road, push it out of the garage and take a picture of it on the drive, as long as it’s not under cover it counts.
If you need any help with organising the day or are looking for new ideas please contact projects@tvrcc.com and we’ll be happy to help.
Send your pictures plus a short paragraph of where you went and what you did to editor@tvrcc.com or upload to the Clubs facebook page, so we can all then see what everyone else did on the day.

The TVRCC have a serious problem here.
Most of our fellow owners are such dedicated polishers that they won't venture out if there has been:
1. Rain in the last 14 days
2. A gritter/salter on the roads in the last 12 months.
3. Any risk of any other vehicles on the roads.
4. Any risk it might rain
5. Any risk they might put more than 10 miles on the odometer.
Guess there will be a lot of photos of shiny TVRs parked on driveways.

I guess it might be because if the underside of the car has been restored they don't want it shagged and rotten again. It's not a monocoque with bolt on bits. The majority of fantasists who say "ooo I drive mine every day, and leave it out side" have a heap of rusty steel tubing with a plastic tub sat on top.
