Not many vehicles can make a G-wagen look compact and struggling for cool factor. This is about the only thing to manage it.

That definitely belongs in the "so ugly, it's beautiful" category.

Sub-zero. Are these the things with a 250 litre fuel tank, or something along those lines?

290 litres. Would be hellish if you pulled up to a pump that constantly clicks shut.

Looking online it seems to do 5MPG so thats what, £320(ish) at current rates to fill the tank up on 95 and a refill every 315 miles?

great to see all the love for these things

I've only driven it to the MOT and put £100 petrol in it which was just below half a tank which was better than expected!

Values have increased over the last few years like most classics - they always used to be similar money to Countach's but are roughly half what they make now so good value (or that's what I tell her indoors!)

looking forward to getting some use out of this summer - hoping to take it to Sliverstone Classic for camping cool

Scorpions no longer made unfortunately and Pirelli have no plans to remake them

Bit scary driving around on 30 year old tyres so am sourcing some Falkens from the US in similar size

Cheaper than spending £7k on a used set of Scorpions!
