Whats your daily electricity usage/cost?
Discussion
Scottish Power aren't as intuitive unfortunately, however they do provide enough information to give an approximate figure.
Average daily usage from 21st May to 19th June: 7.4kWh.
Unit rate: 9.712p/kWh
Standing Charge: 19.57p
Average cost per day = (9.712 x 7.4) + 19.57
= 91 pence per day
3 bed detached house, just the Mrs and I, both working Mon-Fri 8-5.

Cost means nothing. What is it in Kw?
Just for you!TBH I'm actually surprised on how much i use really, as i live on my own! The only high load appliances are the oven and washer/drier.
The oven is only on for probably half hour every other day. (i have a lot of takeaways!
Washer/drier does 2 loads per week.
LED Lighting throughout.
It must be all my gadgets all adding up.
It would be interesting to see the same for gas, but they won't let me have a smart gas meter

We don't monitor daily usage. We live, we use electricity in doing so, we pay the bill at the end of the month/quarter.
But you could, for the purposes of this thread, gain access to your daily usage, and post it for comparison like others have.Curious as to why you would click on the thread, with the title quite clearly defining its purpose, to tell everyone you don't care about daily usage?

Not including the standing charge, this month we have used:
Electric £1 per day.
Gas (heating, water and cooking) 41p per day.
Not bad when there are three of us; two females (we all know what they are like for leaving lights on and having the heating on when it isn't cold!), one of which is a student so is in and out daily and the wife works split hours so is around between 9:00 and 15:00 plus there is always someone in at the weekend; oh and we use a tumble drier almost daily.
It always perplexes me that constantly; usually around winter time, there are calls for cheaper gas and electric, however when the figures are broken down I think for what they provide, it is bloody good value but then I know some who are very wasteful when it comes to their utilities; lights on everywhere, TV left on, heating like the Bahamas etc.
