Hey in your opinions, what is the best looking modern hot hatch with a 0-60 quicker than 8 seconds?

This won't make any sense because it's not a hatch and I think audis are just dreary looking things.

But, the new S3 in saloon form looks terrific. Just the perfect dimensions and purposeful yet discrete. They'll probably do an RS model and ruin it, but hay, that's audi for ya.

I think the Mazda 3 is probably the best looking hatch on the market at the moment; unfortunately they've dropped the MPS but the most powerful diesel might just about dip under 8 seconds?

Otherwise, hmm, the three-door Astra VRX is a handsome thing.

Of the stuff made in the last 5 or 10 years I think Megane really stands out. Propotions are just right and it looks aggressive and, for the lack of a better word, race-y, without too much fuss (e.g. the latest Civic).

Clio 197/200 looks like a mini touring car. When they are lowered with some spacers even better.

The new Polo GTi 1.8T with 192bhp, the other half has one......a classy little motor.

I think the alfa giulietta QV looks good, the stock wheels not so much
Also biased vote: megane rs rb8 minus redbull stickers

+1

Considering the 250 was released back in 2010 - they still look great!

I know its a wierd one but I actually really like the look of the new Kia hot hatch (proCeed GT I think). Sits in a bit of a wierd place performance wise though below the full fat hot hatches (megane RS, Focus ST) around the 208gti/Fiesta ST performance (and price) but with a larger frame. I always seem to jump at the wierd ones though, they tend to get the most bang4buck used.

We have a current model Mini JCW so I will biasedly and stupidly choose that

Although removing blinkers it's certainly an aquired taste so without bias or blinkers I'm gonna agree with a post above and say the current mode Astra VXR is a good looking hot hatch

+1 for the Megane RS. The Pre facelift looked a little awkward to me, but the facelifts looks epic!

The Astra VXR in dark blue is my pick. Stunning looks for a hot hatch. I love the wheels, but keeping them in good rubber is a pricey hobby, according to my friend who owns one.

Another vote for the MK3 Megane. Both pre and post facelift I think look great (pre a little more so).

Quite like the Astra J VXR and the new 208 Gti Anniversary editions too.

Yes the Megane is pretty timeless.

I really liked the look of my now departed 3dr M135i even though I'll be in a minority of 1 as looks are not subjective on PH and it's supposed to be ugly.

Cupra/Golf R. I want to like the S3, but it's just so damn boring.
