Best looking new warm/hot hatch? I'd go the new Leon:
Stood next to one a while back, and they're fairly handsome in the flesh. Proportionally pretty good, quite a low roofline and more of the old-school long bonnet, swept back windscreen look, rather than all the mini-MPVs everyone else is churning out. Needs to be the 5dr though, as the 3dr doesn't have the interesting rear window line and looks too much like an Audi A3.
Otherwise I'd agree with the Megane RS jobbies, and purely on looks only, every Astra VXR has nailed the modern aggressive hot hatch requirement. Only problem is that it's a Vauxhall, so it'll probably be a bit.....s

I'd go Leon or Megane as an ownership proposition, but not sure how far down those Leon FRs have come yet.

Forgot the C30! Brilliant looking thing, from a company who usually make such dull looking cars:
