Apologies for reviving an old(ish) thread, but I had the misfortune today of seeing one of the OP's original 'beauties'eek

That GLE is truly, madly, deeply hideous. I thought the X6 was the weapon of choice for lard-arsed seaside amusement arcade owners, but this would surely suit them bettercool

I needed a stiff drink when I got home to recover from the shock....

I saw a Lancia Thesis in Spain last week and couldn't believe how horrendous it looked. Reminded me of a car caricature from a Pixar movie.

Really can't imagine them standing around the clay models of the car and thinking "nailed it"...

I quite like the GLE boxedin
Only seen them in dark colours and thought it looked quite stylish.

Mate has a 5 series GT and looks better in real life than pictures.
It's no beauty queen but less hideous than some make out.

I'll nominate that funny squashed mini coupe thing.
Yuk.

These or other peugeots of the same era. How anyone ever thought they looked appealing is beyond me
I'm biased as I drive my wife's 307 most days... and I know 307s/most Pugs are generally hated by the PH community...but I really don't see how this or Peugeots I can think of generally, are ugly.

A mate posted a pic on FB t'other day, of (some of) the contents of his drive. It won't repost here, but it was a gold-wrapped i8 parked next to this...

Both are utterly fugly. One of them is gorgeously utterly fugly. Fortunately, that's the one he owns - the other was a visitor...

I haven't seen one in the flesh yet, but from pictures I wouldn't say a Tesla Model X is a particularly great looking car. The proportions just look wrong to me..

GLC is a good looking suv, compared to an X6.

Mk2 Focus RS, BMW X3, X5, X6, 5 series GT, 1 series. I'd rather have a Prius over all of them.

All massively fugly. Actually, the 5 series GT rear end did resemble that of the Prius!

But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I hate someone else will think is amazing: Just like that tt Boris Johnson ?
I'm gonna own up here. I quite like the GT versions.... for purely practical reasons of course tongue out The boots seem usefully huge and I believe there is more room in the back for passengers. I can see that it'd be the nicer option for a family car, if for some reason you didn't like the even nicer estate versions.

Holy fk! that is genuinely awful. Thanks for posting a link and not embedding a picture!

EDIT: though, nice to note... not a nasty 4 pot in sight. Inline 5's and V6's only.

From the front, that Thesis looks like the unholy progeny of a last shape Ford Scorpio with a Jaguar S-Typeeek

I always liked the Multipla. I remember my mum had one.
Yes I was bullied because of it, but hey. I think it's one of the design greats.
