It looks like it's saying "get out of my way you little insig." in five languages at the same time.
Not really quick enough for that sort of action, though, is it?
When does that ever deter the drivers of Urban Personnel Carriers?

I hope ford sacked the guy who designed this:

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when this was presented - and know what went though the minds of the people who approved this design.

Yep, if it wasn't for the "kidney" grille and bonnet weirdness that could be anything. One of the most dreary cars I've seen in a long time.
It is a BMW for people that can't really afford one but really, really want one. It is a very bland design.

I've said said it on here before, I can't believe just how bad the rear of the new XF looks. I don't even notice the XE but the XF always stands out as a total eyesore.

I'm afraid I have to agree. The mk1 facelift still looks miles better. I so wanted to like the new XF, but I chose another facelift (my third) in favour of a new shape.

I always liked the Multipla.
Same here. As a design study, it's great for numerous reasons
Actually as a car it was pretty damn good too.
I had an early one, it was exactly what I needed, 6 seats and a good boot, economical and it was a bloody sight better to drive than a scenic or a zafira. And those main beam headlights on the bulge were perfect for flashing annoying tts with as they were at eye level on most normal cars biggrin

From the front, that Thesis looks like the unholy progeny of a last shape Ford Scorpio with a Jaguar S-Typeeek
The concept looks tons better, I think - once I'd seen it, it was a lot clearer to me what they were trying to go for! Obviously between initial sketch and final approved product, they had to make a bunch of tweaks to the details, and they added up to make all the difference: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Thesis#/med...

I also thought of the S-Type, though unlike the Thesis I didn't have to see a concept model to figure out what they were trying to do, so you have to give them credit for that smile But the end result was about the same. Though, after about 15 years of seeing them on the road I actually found myself warming to the S-Type's looks, and now I don't mind them too much. (Don't tell anybody, but these days I might even rate them above the rather squinty-eyed later XJs.) Maybe if I saw these around all the time I'd come to think the same.

That looks more bland than ugly to me. Remove the badge and it could be an older Hyundai / Kia / Honda, but not a Jaguar.

BMW have screwed up a bit. They've built this and the new Mini on the same platform, and both look like ill-proportioned messes.

Not a great colour. I work next to the big car park at Portbury where they import all of these for the UK, and some of the other colour combinations (the dark green with everything else matt black for example) look a lot better.

The BMW is a cut and paste of the Nissan Almera Tino

People on my street have one in bright yellow, doesnt look too bad imho

Sure, it still is an odd thing, and its usefulness is debatable, but in the right colour it doesnt look THAT ugly

Not actually ugly....just so bland & dull looking. It just provokes no reaction in me, which is probably worse.

The first time I saw a Nissan Juke Puke I nearly crashed. The combination of laughing, pointing and 'wtf is that'?

Ugly wee feckers are everywhere now.
