Dunno if any of you watch Roadkill on Youtube? They stripped down an 84 Corvette to basically a roll cage and floor pan. Just a go-cart with a small block in it. It is now my most dreamed about vehicle!
I watched this last week - instantly thought you could do the same with a TVR!

I would make a suggestion, but Alfaholics got there long before me...

When my 156 crumbles to dust I want the engine to go to a new home, maybe in a MGB GT shell. Yes, that would be nice.
It would need a roll cage, race fuel cell, 5 point harnesses, uprated brakes and suspension, alcantara wheel and some subtle carbon fibre panels for me to be totally happy. Then an amazing deep red paint job to finish...

I quite like the idea of a Ferrari 355 fitted with a 550 bhp 612 v12 engine and clothed in a nice lightweight carbon kevlar F40 LM body, but who would be daft enough to do something like that!
wink

Would be nice to have a thread on here!
Ferrari basically did that in the '90's with the F50 mule.

So many possibilities!

I do like the idea of a Porsche 904 GTS with a GT3 motor...

Beck made such mix for himself with their Beck 904 GTS pretty fast in such lightweight.
