Oh that's not going to help. My only issue now would be will it fit in my garage...
Its leased - why would you care if it was in a garage or not?
confused

Because he wouldn't want it to get damaged, vandalised or stolen? What has the fact that it's leased go to do with how you look after it?

That's a crazy price for a Caddy on a lease. I bought my Caddy last year when it was 8 months old for around £10k less than what it would have cost new although that was mainly due to the massive spec it has. Honestly at those lease figures you'd be better off buying either new or used. Mine will be available within the next few weeks if you're interested wink

Sorry for the blatant advertbiggrin

MB Corporate in Tamworth isn't part of the retail group any more. If only there was someone on here from London Corporate whistle

Not that I could get close to that deal!

Would never be tempted by the S3 3 or 5dr but the saloon looks fantastic. Currently I have a Golf R and had ordered another but the lead times are just getting beyond a joke and now the facelift is coming so I am going to cancel it.
Went to see a 2017 S3 saloon (in Nardo - looked awful and is massively expensive paint job) and came away disappointed. The saloon looks great but it was not a patch on the R to drive and I didnt like the interior. Plus standard kit is way off the Golf - no folding mirrors, no DCC etc, no auto hold etc. Also Sepang Blue has been pulled along with the black styling pack.
So whilst its a good deal I am not ordering based on the above.
Audi Fleet guy just laughed when I showed him the deal - no chance he said.
DCC is an £830 option on the golf and standard on the S3 saloon.

Indeed sorry i meant ACC.

I had a Golf R ordered but cancelled due to the delays. Took a test drive of a 2017 S3 saloon with the new 7 speed DSG box and was blown away by it. I ordered one on the same day (only £30 more a month than the Golf R). It also handled better and looks a lot better (IMO) than the Golf R. Think it might have been the Audi magnetic ride which made the handling difference and is standard in the saloon. Is that the equivalent of DCC? The Golf R I test drove didn't have DCC. I agree about the Nardo colour, very unusual in a bad way IMO. I went for Daytona grey myself.
Mind telling where the S3 was ordered from?. Also did the new S3 sound good?

Just an update on my current Golf R lease . . . .

I was paying £225pcm, but was doing less than the agreed 10,000 miles per annum so renegotiated my monthly down to £163 pcm based upon 6,500 miles per annum. My lease expires in March 2017 so have asked what the cost of extending my lease by 12 months would be - the monthly cost from 24 months to 36 months would be £197 pcm. My agreement is with VWFS.

I'm now in 2 minds over what to do. To extend it by 12 months will be very cheap motoring, but I do find the Golf a quite boring and would love a change. Nice problem to have really.

The S3 saloon does sound a little better from outside than the Golf R and S3 3dr/5dr for some reason but the sound actuator on the S3 is quieter and 'softer' than the Golf R. Some people hate the sound actuator but I personally like it so the fact in the S3 it was quieter and 'softer' was another reason not to get one. If you are thinking of ordering I would recommend going to see one even if its a 3dr/5dr just to see the interior and get a feel for it.

Fleet Savers - they had a great offer on where you could get met paint free (except Lapis) but I still went Lapis. Now I would order silver!

Skoda Kodiaq probably? The last of the VAG MQB trilogy. There have already been reasonable deals on the Tiguan and Ateca, and I'd expect similar from Skoda.

Any recommendations for better deals on the GLA, or a similar car?
Consider a Tiguan https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

£30 cheaper. A bit bigger. 3k miles more per annum than the Merc. Cheaper first service. Nav as std.

Agreed, new Tiguan are very nice, TFT instrument cluster in the SEL and above is amazing. Being the new model they feel a lot more premium than the 'premium' competition.
Thanks - will check it out

When is the best time for low prices in the leasing world? End of the year? Just before the new plates come out? Or is there no real predictable pattern?

My previous E63 AMG was from Niche Leasing http://www.nicheleasing.co.uk/ (very good experience with them) and they dealt direct with London Corporate Merc, that's where the car came from (who were also very good).

That was £475/m inc vat on 9+23 in the good old days of 2013.

No general time really, maybe end of year (car sales year ends is end of September) But mainly it's make / model specific depending on particular cars being pushed or over supplied etc.

You just have to keep an eye out all the time, on sad placed like this for one. wink

Just keep an eye on them with deposits.
When I last dealt with them, they took the full deposit upfront and then the finance company also took the same deposit.
