No doubt it is real. Why wouldn't it be?

Be interesting what deals change on Monday with today (Friday 29th) being the end of the car sales year for dealerships.

All these franchises desparate to shift stuff before tomorrow usually resulting in a few daft deals.

Is that +vat? Hard to find cheap A6 Avant deals. The saloon deals have been around mostly on the SE. Seems like a good deal on the special.

Not end of year, but end of quarter. Annual target runs Jan to Dec

List is £39500, but Orangewheels are offering that model for £29263 - almost 26% discount.

I had a Golf R ordered but cancelled due to the delays. Took a test drive of a 2017 S3 saloon with the new 7 speed DSG box and was blown away by it. I ordered one on the same day (only £30 more a month than the Golf R). It also handled better and looks a lot better (IMO) than the Golf R. Think it might have been the Audi magnetic ride which made the handling difference and is standard in the saloon. Is that the equivalent of DCC? The Golf R I test drove didn't have DCC. I agree about the Nardo colour, very unusual in a bad way IMO. I went for Daytona grey myself.
Its definately an interesting colour and seems to be popular.

Can you also share what deal you secured and who through?
Thx

Any recommendations for better deals on the GLA, or a similar car?
Consider a Tiguan https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

£30 cheaper. A bit bigger. 3k miles more per annum than the Merc. Cheaper first service. Nav as std.

Agreed, new Tiguan are very nice, TFT instrument cluster in the SEL and above is amazing. Being the new model they feel a lot more premium than the 'premium' competition.
Not much info on that link, unless im missing a tab.
Im assuming this is the Urano Grey option only.
Excess mileage..?
Is the first service at 15k?

I've sent for a quote, but the deal seems much better than what Stable are offering at the moment.

£6150 all in for 2years seems reasonable, my other choice was the A4 Avant sport, which comes to about 6780 over the same period (albeit 10k miles instead of 8k)
Yes flat grey. If you want another colour it's normally the entire cost of the extra over the term. Excess mileage is the usual VWFS 7.2p/mile inc VAT. Servicing is either 20k or 24months, whichever comes first. You can normally prepay that service as a 2 year pack for around £160, which is sensible. The G2L deal at 5k miles works out a little cheaper even with the excess mileage and the fee. This is a brillant choice I think. A 28k car for less than £250/month amortised, serviced and taxed.

I had a look around the New Tiguan in the show room last night, to see it in flesh rather than the showroom sparkly photos.
It feels alot more "executive" than I imagined, and a very nice place to be.
This one is actually for the wife, so its suitable enough. I think were going to add the White paint for 275 aswell.

Ive sent for a G2L quote last night, works out as a great deal!

When is the best time for low prices in the leasing world? End of the year? Just before the new plates come out? Or is there no real predictable pattern?
No general time really, maybe end of year (car sales year ends is end of September) But mainly it's make / model specific depending on particular cars being pushed or over supplied etc.

You just have to keep an eye out all the time, on sad placed like this for one. wink

I meant I'm dubious the Central pricing is real - can they really do the R-Line 4Motion DSG at close to half price?

Although I guess to some extent their pricing might be validated by you finding the SE Nav even cheaper than they have it.

DSG in Tiguan works very well, by the way, and stops it feeling like you're driving a truck. If you can get it for not too much extra I think it's a no-brainer, although obviously your opinion may differ.

Just sent off for a quote on this - if real will be "pulling the trigger."

I'm sceptical though.

Really interesting to read your comments - I felt completely the opposite. I am about to cancel my R order due to delays and always had a soft spot for the S3 saloon svelte styling but felt the steering lacked feel and it was less composed than the R. My current R sits on 18's and has no DCC. I also didnt like the Audi interior - wobbly pop up screen, and the weird cruise control stalk that hangs from the bottom of the wheel plus no standard folding mirrors, no acc, no auto hold etc. The looks couldnt quite swing the other pitfalls for me. Each to their own though - this is why being a petrol head is interesing - everyone has different tastes likes etc!
I am sure you will love it when it arrives - I would of taken the blue but agree Nardo sucks and costs thousands. Merlin purple is THE Audi colour
I suspect you ordered through Select Leasing

Yep - I couldnt order it even if i did want to now - Select sent me a quote but its the 5dr despite me clearly asking for the saloon in my email. First time ever had issues with them they are normally on the ball.
Check the quote you receive closely is my advice!!
