mate just got a Red (non metalic) Golf R and the paint is softer than cheese. Chips if you look at it funny. More stone chips than my 9 year old 3 series and it has only done 8k of mixed driving.
This is the best lease car deals available thread though!
Yes, and that is very pertinent information to lots of the people in here considering Golf R deals

You are not the thread's personal Nazi dictator, wind yer neck in and scroll past you massive child.

My Golf isn't an R, but it is solid black. And yes, the paint is apparently made of cheese.

Of course I'm not but he didn't mention even if it were leased. The topic of the thread is clear, of course there will be a wander but why not start a thread on VW paint if it is that much of an issue.

No need at all for insults

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Golf R estate lease, £2400 down, 23 x £230 inc vat, Solid paint, 8k a year. Have also been quoted for the optional 19'' alloys which I much prefer which comes out at £280 per month.

That's with CVL.

Any other places that might beat this?

I tired a main steeler today and was told, £500+ a month on the same terms above (standard wheels) and that there was a 4-5 month waiting time due to the seat manufacturer being behind...CVL say December as they already have cars in production.
All I'm going to say is, wait until Q4 prices are released next week. You never know...

Hasn't posted since, minimal number of posts... does smell like a pork pie to me - if not, I'd have jumped all over that sort of deal otherwise to replace the Mrs car...! Spoke to a couple of dealers earlier and their fleet managers laughed!

Those A8 deals look mighty fine though for a bit of luxury cruising... I'm pushing a commute of 80 miles each way 2-3 times a week and it seems like a lovely place to spend some time - comfy too!

VW seems a posh choice for a "station runabout". What about citroen / skoda etc, usually far cheaper deals on those...

Skoda Yeti DSG £77/m inc vat.
https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...
That looks stupid cheap
Until you add in the £2k+VAT upfront and the "admin fee"
All in £4373 over the 2 yrs, still stupid cheap to me.

Even stupider cheaper is the Yeti Monte Carlo....£3635 over the 2 yrs!!

Haven't done the sums but saw this and thought of you (Awww)

5000mpa but the excess mileage works out at only £360 a year @ 7.2ppm

Has anyone got any deals on the Merc C Class coupe?

I need 20k miles p/a.

Best I can find so far is a 220d AMG line for £12.5k over two years from LOC Essex.

Thanks in advance!

I had an email from my local,VW dealer 'predicting' some good deals on golf gti's and gtd's. I didn't ask anything as were due to have our R estate delivered in a couple of weeks.

Maybe there will be a few deals - 'trigger' fingers at the ready!!

I've heard Sept is looking like a bit of a disaster, and it's estimated that pre-registrations could hit 25%. So there's going to have to be some chunky deals next quarter.

Bearing in mind Friday is the last day of the month, what would be the ordering cut-off for taking delivery of a stock car? Or is it too late already?

We're booking deliveries for Monday next week today. We'll be doing deals for activation this month (i.e approved and signed docs back until Wednesdayish for delivery next week. Vehicles would be registered Friday. Still time to squeeze deals out the door. I did an S Class today for a customer that we've managed to get on a boat Wednesday to be registered this week.

The motor trade will kill me, and it will be on a plate change month laugh
