Anyone pulled the trigger on the audi s3 saloon (facelift) yet?

Anyone know what expected delivery dates are?

And if any audi dealers would or could match deals direct?

I do like the primer looking, almost unfinished audi "nardo grey" colour they have just introduced.

Would never be tempted by the S3 3 or 5dr but the saloon looks fantastic. Currently I have a Golf R and had ordered another but the lead times are just getting beyond a joke and now the facelift is coming so I am going to cancel it.
Went to see a 2017 S3 saloon (in Nardo - looked awful and is massively expensive paint job) and came away disappointed. The saloon looks great but it was not a patch on the R to drive and I didnt like the interior. Plus standard kit is way off the Golf - no folding mirrors, no DCC etc, no auto hold etc. Also Sepang Blue has been pulled along with the black styling pack.
So whilst its a good deal I am not ordering based on the above.
Audi Fleet guy just laughed when I showed him the deal - no chance he said.

I just can't help but feel bored when I see an S3. "Oh...it does have the 4 exhausts"...

Hmmm....from their website I wonder what the difference is between:
Jeep Grand Cherokee SW Diesel 3.0 CRD Overland 5dr Auto and
Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD Overland 5dr Auto

apart from about £300/mth? (deposits are ball-park the same).

I'm still sore about Mangoletsi's (mostly) fake £199/mth Jeep GC offer. At around the £450 mark VW Touareg would be far better.

Got an order down. Expected delivery date was late Jan/early Feb. Asked for it to be delivered 1st march.

As said, that is really bad. Over £18,000 to lease a £15K van for 5 years and walk away with nothing? Leasing isn't great on vans, you can't use it as it's intended for fear of return penalties. Especially if you want it for 5 years it will be thrashed by then.

IMO VW vans are overpriced, heavy and not very economical. Unless you want to go for the "cool builder" custom look, just go for a cheaper van like a ford or peugeot. They are loads cheaper and just as capable.

We run peugeot bippers, great vans, much better to drive than a Caddy, and only £8k to buy brand new with bluetooth, air con, leccy windows etc. If you buy then no worries about damage / miles, just run it into the ground as is a van's purpose!

Agreed, new Tiguan are very nice, TFT instrument cluster in the SEL and above is amazing. Being the new model they feel a lot more premium than the 'premium' competition.

Lots of companies lease vans, return conditions tend to be more reasonable than cars. As long as it's not got more dents than a golf ball then you're pretty much fine. Plyline is a must though

Yes they do, tax benefits depend on the business size, but regardless of that the posters quote was terrible.

The massive cash buy discounts on stock vans makes them way cheaper to buy than any lease if you intend to keep it for a bit.

Unless cash is tight or you're desperate to keep it off your asset balance....

Not much info on that link, unless im missing a tab.
Im assuming this is the Urano Grey option only.
Excess mileage..?
Is the first service at 15k?

I've sent for a quote, but the deal seems much better than what Stable are offering at the moment.

£6150 all in for 2years seems reasonable, my other choice was the A4 Avant sport, which comes to about 6780 over the same period (albeit 10k miles instead of 8k)

DCC is an £830 option on the golf and standard on the S3 saloon.

I had a Golf R ordered but cancelled due to the delays. Took a test drive of a 2017 S3 saloon with the new 7 speed DSG box and was blown away by it. I ordered one on the same day (only £30 more a month than the Golf R). It also handled better and looks a lot better (IMO) than the Golf R. Think it might have been the Audi magnetic ride which made the handling difference and is standard in the saloon. Is that the equivalent of DCC? The Golf R I test drove didn't have DCC. I agree about the Nardo colour, very unusual in a bad way IMO. I went for Daytona grey myself.

Discounts are always big on vans, it's just par for the course really. I once did a deal on a load of Ducato vans that were half price. Usual discount was late 30% mark from memory. Renault were always less support than Vauxhall which annoyed me as they came out of the same factory!

But yes, that's an awful deal on the Caddy!
