I work for Central UK Vehicle Leasing (CVL)

I can confirm our offers are real!!

As stated above, today is our end of Quarter though so Majority of pricing ends today. INC VW Tiguans ETC.
Do you know what the lead times are on these? I'm potentially looking at 2.

Current allocation for these is delivery December / January. (I expect everyone is in the same boat)

More likely Jan TBH with XMAS

Yep - I couldnt order it even if i did want to now - Select sent me a quote but its the 5dr despite me clearly asking for the saloon in my email. First time ever had issues with them they are normally on the ball.
Check the quote you receive closely is my advice!!
Same with mine, bit st really. Asked for an auto saloon 12k per annum and what the excess mileage costs were. Got a quote for a manual sportback 10k per annum and no excess mileage info.

They've now made the saloon deal exactly the same (to the penny) as next cheapest on CHL. Looks like they had a good response then figured out they were doing it cheaper than everyone else so raised the price.

I had a Golf R ordered but cancelled due to the delays. Took a test drive of a 2017 S3 saloon with the new 7 speed DSG box and was blown away by it. I ordered one on the same day (only £30 more a month than the Golf R). It also handled better and looks a lot better (IMO) than the Golf R. Think it might have been the Audi magnetic ride which made the handling difference and is standard in the saloon. Is that the equivalent of DCC? The Golf R I test drove didn't have DCC. I agree about the Nardo colour, very unusual in a bad way IMO. I went for Daytona grey myself.
Really interesting to read your comments - I felt completely the opposite. I am about to cancel my R order due to delays and always had a soft spot for the S3 saloon svelte styling but felt the steering lacked feel and it was less composed than the R. My current R sits on 18's and has no DCC. I also didnt like the Audi interior - wobbly pop up screen, and the weird cruise control stalk that hangs from the bottom of the wheel plus no standard folding mirrors, no acc, no auto hold etc. The looks couldnt quite swing the other pitfalls for me. Each to their own though - this is why being a petrol head is interesing - everyone has different tastes likes etc!
I am sure you will love it when it arrives - I would of taken the blue but agree Nardo sucks and costs thousands. Merlin purple is THE Audi colour
I suspect you ordered through Select Leasing
It is interesting how perception can differ :-) I did get to drive the S3 hard which was a nice surprise. I agree that as standard it should have more features especially folding mirrors and parking sensors. It was indeed ordered through Select. It worked out well as I didn't get one of the super deals on the R but seem to have ordered the S3 at the right time as prices have now gone up.

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

So I extended my Golf R lease for 6 months and it is due to go back at the end of Jan. The R is easily the best all round car I have had the pleasure of driving. But I need to be (a lot!) more sensible with my next lease choice so was very interested in the Tiguan R Line deals (how will I deal with the drop in power?!) - especially as VWFS have been very acommodating with my Golf R lease (50% discount on excess mileage after calling 1 year in, gave me the option to extend lease by 6 months or 12 months at decent monthlies).

Anyways, long story short - I played 3 VW dealership fleet depts (Listers vs Inchcape vs Jardine Motors) off against each other (all via email) and managed to get the Tiguan R Line 2.0 tdi BMT 150 4Motion DSG for £400 IR + £280 pm all inc VAT on 5k miles, excess mileage charge 7.2ppm = total £6,840 over the 2 years. This was with Lancaster VW Aylesbury & Milton Keynes (Jardine Motors). The guy did say that this price left them with very litlle profit and that he had to "get approval from his boss" to offer it.

Got the documentation through - all approved and signed for - looking at Dec/Jan delivery. Not looking forward to almost double the 0-60 speed vs the R but the spec in the Tiguan is awesome plus I love the way it looks.

Hope this helps for those looking at Tiguans - the deals are real!!

I have an application filled out for the R Line Tiguan in blue ready to hit send...... but after a Golf R 150bhp is going to be 'interesting'. Hesitating............anyone else thinking about one?

Do any lease companies do this? Updating each and every one of your customers each week would be a bit excessive imo especially in a 'numbers game' business like car leasing but happy to be proved wrong....

Just pulled the trigger on the gateway2lease Tiguan deal. £119 a month plus £2400 initial rental and £150 processing fee over two years.

We were looking at the Kia Sportage 1.6 GD1 which was coming in at around £4700 over a 2 year period with metallic paint. Also I heard that car was a bit of a gas guzzler and I'm hoping a diesel will save us cash in the long run.

I'm very much a leasing newbie and only really started looking properly a couple of weeks ago. What do you guys all think? Is it a decent deal?

Thanks to everyone who contributes as the advice has been really useful. My Touareg was delivered at 06:45 this morning and I'm really pleased with it. Got a 9+23 year deal on the R-Line Plus 262 model for £369 (just over £10k over 2 years). It was a little above my budget but is a lot of car for the money with lots of things I preferred and quite a few that I didn't need included as standard (leather, sat nav, keyless, 21" rims and panoramic sun roof). Still can't believe that the Audi S3 doesn't have reversing sensors as standard!

I dealt with Inchcape in Chester after finding the deal on CHL dot com and it's been a really positive experience, all done, dusted and delivered in less than 10 days from application.

I've read several posts (think both were on VWROC) that Select were sending an update email every Thursday. I haven't received any however and was curious to know if I'm an exception.
