Just pulled the trigger on the gateway2lease Tiguan deal. £119 a month plus £2400 initial rental and £150 processing fee over two years.
Same here.
Signed the dotted line for Tiguan SE Nav 2.0TDI 150PS 2WD manual in Pure White with Storm Grey upholstery. A bit more for the colour (£131.99 p/m) but stock vehicle so 3-4 weeks delivery...

So thanks everyone.

Brother offered this deal on a M240i coupe for a stock car for immediate delivery - £4k down then £437 a month personal lease for 24 months based on 20k miles a year and fully maintained, Tyres, service etc. Less than the depreciation if it's the car he wants IMO.

I had that deal matched today, £5600 for 2 years all in! No fee either.
It's also my first lease, I've not physically signed anything, but apparently it's "gone through" and the finance is in place.
Car is due in 10weeks as I wanted Pure White.

At that price I'd look at PCP or buying outright. Brokers like Carfile.net offering £5-6K discount on those, which is an easy way of dodging a chunk of depreciation.

Mine with fee is exactly £5615 for 2 years so yours must be more than £132 p/m then...

Broadspeed currently offering just over 1k off list but BMW themselves have an immediate 4k if you take credit

BMW figures for PCP at their discounted price on 20k miles (non maintained and taxed) are £4k deposit then 23*£500

So the lease deal looks good - again

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

So I extended my Golf R lease for 6 months and it is due to go back at the end of Jan. The R is easily the best all round car I have had the pleasure of driving. But I need to be (a lot!) more sensible with my next lease choice so was very interested in the Tiguan R Line deals (how will I deal with the drop in power?!) - especially as VWFS have been very acommodating with my Golf R lease (50% discount on excess mileage after calling 1 year in, gave me the option to extend lease by 6 months or 12 months at decent monthlies).

Anyways, long story short - I played 3 VW dealership fleet depts (Listers vs Inchcape vs Jardine Motors) off against each other (all via email) and managed to get the Tiguan R Line 2.0 tdi BMT 150 4Motion DSG for £400 IR + £280 pm all inc VAT on 5k miles, excess mileage charge 7.2ppm = total £6,840 over the 2 years. This was with Lancaster VW Aylesbury & Milton Keynes (Jardine Motors). The guy did say that this price left them with very litlle profit and that he had to "get approval from his boss" to offer it.

Got the documentation through - all approved and signed for - looking at Dec/Jan delivery. Not looking forward to almost double the 0-60 speed vs the R but the spec in the Tiguan is awesome plus I love the way it looks.

Hope this helps for those looking at Tiguans - the deals are real!!
Hi, thanks for that. Could you send me over the details also please wink

Is it too late to go for this deal now with it being October?
Also who matched this deal for you?
Thanks

I have a M240i, I really like it - but there's no way that a (I assume) base model 240 is £3.5k~ a year better than a Golf R on a 2 year lease - £14k vs £7k

A 4 year PCP (no idea on the balloon payments for 2 years) can be had for 300/month with a 4K deposit with the 6.7k C2C are offering. Sell/hand the car back after 2 years and total cost would be at most 11k.

Agreed. The coast 2 Coast deal with £6700 off list would be a better way if I had to choose.

That's a 20k a year fully maintained deal on the 240i though, is the R deal comparible?

On 8k non maintanined the 240i can be had for £2800 and £290 a month.

We were looking at the Kia Sportage 1.6 GD1 which was coming in at around £4700 over a 2 year period with metallic paint. Also I heard that car was a bit of a gas guzzler and I'm hoping a diesel will save us cash in the long run.

I'm very much a leasing newbie and only really started looking properly a couple of weeks ago. What do you guys all think? Is it a decent deal?
The Tiguan will save you around £40-50 compared to petrol on 10k miles / year - a much better engine for that type of car too (and I hate diesel). A no brainer in other words.

This deal is nothing short of superb. I am not sure it will be repeated for a while as it's hardly more than the outgoing run out offers on Match Edition 150.

Did your local VW dealer match then ?

I didn't notice the 20k/year, the price makes more sense in that context. I'm not sure a 240i would be my choice for that number of miles, it becomes a very very expensive car!

Edit: So yeah, a Golf R doesn't look so cheap - but I suspect you'd still save thousands over 2 years

Fully maintained too so no servicing, tyres, brakes to worry about, just the MPG. Good chance at the mileage a lot will be business also so usually something can be done there also.

On the same terms I reckon you would save about £1K over the 2 year term based on current deals and as the BMW is quicker, more powerful, 6 cylinder and lists at £5k more than the R that's not really a bad trade off IMHO.

I'm looking at leasing my next car, as frankly some of the deals posted in this thread are insane value. I have a question though, how do people go about the bit inbetween leases? Say there's a 1 month gap between old one going back and new one arriving? Alternatively, can you 'pull the trigger' early, and have the delivery delayed?

I'm all for leasing next time, but not looking forward to the awkward time between one car and another.

You could always just rent a car - a mate of mine is in the same predicament at the moment , although he's got about 3 months to wait so has rented a car for about 300/month, so not a lot more than his monthly payments will be on his lease
