£277 a month Inc vat
6000 miles pa
Car in stock, 10 days wait

Think it was a bit of a bargain
Awful deal.
I know it's not the thread for this but how can people tell that this is a bad deal without knowing the final payment? Terrible deal if handing straight back but surely could still be a great deal if there is a really low final payment?
Final payment is 14000 which they can finance for me or i can just give the car back, excess millage is 8p per mile, car was 22600 and they done a 2400 deposit contribution with 0% Apr.

I have been looking for auto only that's why for some people think it's expensive, ain't much choice in autos like manuals

Thanks Maccas, that definitely helps.

I have already confronted G2L whether they are having issues allocating the stock vehicles, but they told me this wasn't the case. Fine, but then why aren't they keeping their own promises of getting back to me?

The car is due to be delivered by the end of August, curious to see whether it will actually happen.

Ok if this is still going on the numbers don't work out:
24x277= 6648
6648+1200+14000= 21848
Add your 2400 deposit contribution and it will 'cost' £24248 in total

So you're not getting 0% apr.

And it's also not a lease :/

it remains a poor deal, sorry.
A Golf DSG is surely cheaper and better, by most people's definitions.
But if you're adamant you want a Q30.........

Deal is correct...list price is wrong.

If your wanting it in pure white in 2 weeks without a fee on figures below, send me a pm...i've just knocked back one from a vw dealer.

Alternatively he also has a silver available for approx 350 more over the term.

It must be a horrible feeling to come on here as a newbie, post up your deal, be waiting expectantly for your new car to arrive only to have the PH massive drive the proverbial train through said deal :-(

PS It is a truly rubbish deal for the Infiniti

No dealer will hold a car for 7 months! Nobody knows what deals will be around then, even if the dealer could fix the figures for that long they would pay stocking charges from the manufacturer and at some point between 90-180 days the car will go fully paid (list price no discount).
The S3 was an exception as the bloke said initially the delivery dates were January however recently changed to October so thought it would be worth the ask to see if they can do it for march but was a dead end.
Ah ok, yeah 2 months would be fine. It's about the only time a car arriving early is a problem biggrin

It's correct.

CVL put list prices on excluding VAT.
It's £312.75 per month amortised (excluding any fee). I don't think old Tiguan Match, with 4Motion and DSG, got much below £300/mth so that price compares well.

Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TDI Saloon Manual
2 years
Initial: £2250 inc VAT
Monthly: 23 x £280 inc VAT
Mileage: 25k per annum
Any colour

Been quoted this by Simpsons Skoda. While the monthlies may seem a bit high to you 5k and 8k milers, this is typically the sort of money you are looking at when doing this sort of mileage. I have checked the 10k miles per annum offer and paying 30k worth of excess mileage at the end of the term, @7.2p per mile it works out the same.

Are there any better deals out there for something comparable to this?(Insignia is not comparable in my opinion). Would I be better going for a lower mileage and calling them 6 months in to let them know I am going to be doing more mileage than I thought to see if I can get a deal on the excess mileage like some have mentioned doing on here?

... which is a bit shifty. Personal advertised rates should include all costs, which does mean VAT has to be included.

Any Reason you wouldnt get a Seat Leon Cupra 290 5 door instead? Admittedly i havent worked it out but at 6p per mile excess cant be far off

Miles per gallon. Don't particularly need 290bhp for my commute. Prefer the Octavia as a car for the job I will be using it for. I also think diesel cars are better for cruising at motorway speeds than petrol cars.

Any feedback on the deal?

I was certainly quoted like that with old Tiguan but didn't dig into it as I ended up taking a PCP and then settling it immediately as the discount was so large - but of course that doesn't apply on the new one (yet).

ETA: Just looked back at the emails and basically it was pay the full initial payment to VWFS (£3000) and then the dealer would refund me £600 shortly after taking the car. Both dealers quoting offered the same deal and both had the same attitude that it was perfectly normal - I wanted them to just knock the £600 off but they acted like I was being silly.
