Don't hold your breath. AFAIK there are limited UK black edition allocations and lots of orders. Car factories shut down in August for the summer holidays. I had waited since mid May for a build week with no update on the tracker and as its 6-8 weeks from build to delivery it just wasn't working for my circumstances.
Snap frown

I also made the decision to cancel today.

Thinking about cancelling too and going for the 420d gran coupe. They seem to be going at a good price at the moment

If you've £5k to spend there are 'better' cars to lease.
Are you open to suggestions, or are you set on a 1.2 Juke?

It's been around several weeks, but I still think this Touareg deal is a good one if you are in the market for that sort of thing

https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...

A hefty £3600 up front
£275.99 x 23
£9396 all in, or 19.28% of list price

Apologies if repeating something that's already been posted....

A4 1.4 Sport for £119.99 x23 with 2400 down. With the £180 fee, this works out around £5350 for 2 years I think.

Not really in comparison to the 6 series Gran Coupe which was cheaper than this for a 66k car versus the Audi at 45k.

Looking to lease my next car and would appreciate some opinions on the following deal I've seen with fleetprices.co.uk

Mercedes C220d AMG Line Premium Plus 4dr Auto
6+35
10k mileage
Deposit £2,195.70
Additional Fees £298.80
Per Month £365.45

Personal so all including VAT.

If it was me I'd be looking at the new E-Class 220 AMG Line with the 9G auto. Wife has the current C-Class and whilst a nice car the new E-Class is so much more car for the money in every way

Deal below is £340 a month for 6+35 deal, 10K a year with a £2000 deposit and no additional fees.

Premium Plus spec knock it up significantly but most of the worthwhile stuff (Command) can be optioned onto the standard AMG for a few quid a month if necessary.

Mental, £2,400 initial rental for an A1 1.4

I notice other people calling the initial payments 'deposits'. The initial payment is not a deposit, it is the cost of the first months rental.

Having bought one when they first came out (and hence less discounts about), I can assure you it isn't a £66K car smile I had no problems knocking >20% off base price and significantly more where options were involved.

The lease deal was still a good deal of course. Just pointing out most RRP's are inflated, but some are inflated even more smile

Agreed, I should have said initial rental.

A4 though not A1.

I think with all the headline monthly figures around leasing, the important thing to focus on is overall cost and how that works out as a percentage of list. That at least gives some measure of value. If I was leasing, I wouldn't care how the total cost over two years broke down, but I appreciate that some would consider the initial rental to be important.

I must have thought A1 was I didn't realise a 1.4 A4 was such a thing.

You are right, the overall cost is more important, however, I'd rather have the lowest initial rental possible so that for whatever reason, if circumstances change and you need to cancel, or the car is written off in the second month, you haven't paid a massive amount already.

The thread with the stolen Golf R springs to mind, voiding the lease contract and meaning the Golf extremely expensive over the few months the guy had it because it was a 9+ lease (if IRC).

Good find. That's a lot of car for that money.
