Does anybody know why there's so many Fiesta ST Line deals around at the moment, are they trying to get rid of stock? I want a car for the wife quite quickly, brokers are offering them dirt cheap but can't get anywhere near that price through Evans Halshaw etc? £116 a month through Fleet Prices. 9 + 23 + 10k.

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...
The Fiesta ST Line is the new run out model.

You can get a Fiesta 5 dr with the 140 bhp Red/Black Edition 1.0 ltr engine or there are the lower powered versions too.

The car was only available this month if this is correct but would be worth a punt given the right deal smile

Less than £130 a month for a Cooper S has got to be a pretty decent deal?
£183-ish really!
£171 on a 1+23

Is the chilli pack a must have though?

(Funnily enough these are literally 1 mile down the road from me, didn't know that!)

Probably less mental to get an oldish 335i for £12k rather than losing £10k in two years though if you're only doing 10k miles, at least that's the theory.

Something like this is unlikely to lose £10k in two years (or indeed in five), although the colour combination is interestingly dull...

http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/3-Series/3.0-335i-Luxury...
That is the old used vs new chestnut though. In two years your 100,000 mile 335i won't lose £10,000 in depreciation but that needs to be offset by the higher running and maintenance costs particularly if it is out of warranty. You are also driving a 100,000 mile 335i.

Ps, don't know what's in the chilli pack nowadays, but you get manual AC as standard now.
Thought the main reason to get it was residuals, but that's someone else's problem.

Which also applies to Audi, so it's all relative.
Not necessarily, discounts vary based on model. I don't know what the discounts currently available on the SQ5 are, perhaps they are similar as I believe its due to be replaced in a year. But discount levels certainly aren't consistent across the board. I couldn't get the same % discount on an A7 at the time and that had been out for longer. The level of discount actually swayed me towards the 6GC, as actual price disparity was much closer then the RRP's.

So go with a broker! They'll be getting it from Evans or some other franchise anyway, they just get a better deal than you/us!

Franchises don't like to be seen on one hand trying to sell cars at list / outrageous prices for cash / HP etc on forecourts and on the other leasing them away dirt cheap. They'd rather let an internet broker shift the cheap ones so they still get the sale / shift stock without being directly associated with the low price.

Then if customers complain about cheap deals elsewhere they come up with the usual spout about "well sir these disreputable internet firms blah blah...poor customer experience blah blah...fly by nights blah blah..."

It appears that you can get the Fiesta deals from Lookers in Sheffield if you don't want to use a broker for some reason.

Given the great reviews of Gateway2Lease, I am sure that I must be the exception..

Signed the finance papers on Monday and waiting for an update ever since. I emailed G2L on Wednesday, called them yesterday and today. They promise to get back to me, which never happens.

The finance company (Hitachi) won't give me any information and tells me to go back to G2L.

It's on a stock vehicle and I just want to know if the finance documents have been approved and when we can start looking into delivery, how hard can it be..?! With my previous lease it was sorted within a day.

Should have gone to a dealer after all.

There is normally (or at least, this happened to me) a 14 day cooling off period, during which everything goes a bit quiet

That seems a pretty good deal, never particularly liked them but I think at that price i could be tempted, rather have that than a fester

My thinking is the same. I like the fiesta ST and the 1.0 ecoboost in ST-line trim.

But for less money a cooper-s makes more sense.

Test drove one the other day and it was alright. Not sure i'd buy one myself if i had to find £20k+, but happy to spend £200 p/m on a car to do 20k pa. Most cars will lose £2k-£3k pa on 20k miles, unless a cheap shed.
