Braddo - GT3 + Continental Jaunt = cloud9thumbup

LHD - I think we picked up on Strela's entertaining musings earlier in the last iteration of the thread. Seem to recall that there was confirmation that, potential for genetic ties aside, this is not in fact DeR. Content to be proven incorrect though!

Failed thread purchase from me yesterday.

I put a bid in on this beauty at the Historics at Brooklands auction yesterday. I couldn't attend in person so filled in the forms online beforehand.

Unfortunately they then cocked up and even though they received my bid ok they didn't use it at the auction and the car sold for £29k (just not to me!!)

One that got away.
A S3 on Dunlop D-Type alloy wheels is a thing of great beauty.

E30 cab and two(?) 944s...

Look at the size of the Prius compared to the E30 and 944. It's huge.

The perfect spec R500; Mango with painted wheel centres. Exactly the same spec as the one Tiff drove on TG and that I must have watched a hundred times -

I've been stung enough with big bills, not wanting any surprises with this! For a while anyway...
Looks like it'll be getting both condensers, a radiator and a couple of smaller things. Well worth the £72 charge from Motortune!

Jeremy - that GT3 is utterly spuff-tastic. However, isn't that pretty much the as-new price?! I'd want it to be better than factory fresh for such cash. As in mint ("lifed" parts / consumables) and possibly "pre-Manthey'd" hehe Gorgeous car though. Proper stance and for the real deal I can allow the aerokit, which I'm usually not especially keen on (it's a bit like the E36 mirror thing for me I guess!).Who am I kidding - a small windfall and I'd be all over a GT3, pref. 996.1 or a 997. with an RS for the weekends hehe

And I never tire of the seven pic of yours, although it really reminds me of this:

Still have it on my HDD somewhere. Good fun back in the day.

Still a great game, shame the devs have pretty much completely lost interest in it. Still waiting for the promised s3 content..

Another misleading camera shot. The Prius looks relatively massive because it's at the edge of the frame. It's only a couple of inches wider in reality.
