PSM in my c4s keeps anything I throw at it nice and tidey. You might get a bit of slip but only monetarily before the system gathers it all up. Perhaps a smidge of steering input needed but serious oppo is not required.
That's what I'd expect.

Agreed, it's not been a good year for puns.

This sort of behaviour just compounds that.

Slick, do it.

Now that looks like it might be just the job in a year or two. For the time being I've decided to go second hand rather than brand-spankers.

This little blue thing is being delivered tomorrow... A late last-model (R56) Cooper S with lots of options boxes ticked.

Is it just me who is mystified by all the hot Mini variants now?
JCW/Gp2/Challenge and now 210.
I think I'm right in saying that a Gp2 is a hotted up JCW with the rear seats junked. The Challenge is even more hardcore, but has seats back in. And now you can get a JCW with soft suspension, but it has a completely different name. How is anyone supposed to follow this?

Yep the number of variants, especially when you consider all the body styles, is getting quite complicated. Looking forward to the new GP3 though, which should be out fairly soon

The GPs are a bit of a strange spec though. My own GP1 indeed had the rear seats binned, and then also things like the xenons and rear speakers went too. But then they left the air-con (never been a fan of it - pun intended!) and shoved in a set of heavy bespoke leather Recaros. Don't get me wrong, I really love the little car, but I kind of wish they'd gone a bit more "R26R" with it in some ways

Nice new motor btw Gruber, congrats! smile

Not a looker though is it?

The article suggests it's not as good as the "far cheaper" ST200 which according to their specs is actually more expensive?

Tiny, frustrating pics, but the car seems ace.

Good spot and a proper ad, 968 should really be on my list for sub £15k semi practical toys I think, and some nice mods on that one too.

I'm probably a bit quick to dismiss the GT86 but it just doesn't do it for me sadly. Had a cracking drive in the 500 Abarth last night, they really are better (apart from the ride) than press has given them credit for, should probably just stick with it and put some decent suspension on and get a 2 wheeled toy for Sunday mornings but something Porsche/M3 shaped is nagging at me !

I've had two of them over a 5 year period. First was standard, second was the full-on Esseesse spec with Brembo brake upgrade, all the bells and whistles. For a 1.4 turbo they are very quick indeed and with a decent set of tyres they are incredibly well planted to the road. Deceptive, given how tall the body seems. Agree about the ride though, very bouncy and stiff, but still enormous fun.
