Well, that leaves a lot to the imagination... worryingly! wink

Still think the Trophy is a fantastic piece of kit.

Yours looks in great condition!

Clio Trophy is still a thing I really fancy owning. I need some remote damping in my life. Off to eBay...

All being well the DB7 will finally arrive on Friday...

I'm spending a few days cruising around in the old w124 estate. Sometimes less power (around 100hp in this old thing!) is ok.

Agree, I wouldn't trade you a 330i for a D3, or a 330d for that matter.

Chrome Orange is probably the best colour on an S1 Exige imo lick

As you probably know, these tend to be pretty low spec - as I understand it, BMW just sent Alpina a lorry load of boggo 320ds to fettle. That said, they ride a lot better than the standard car, thanks to Alpina's suspension magicians. But fundamentally for me, the body is writing cheques the engine can't cash... or whatever the phrase is.

Aren't you only getting rid of the Boxster due to unwanted attention?
You seem to be losing a load in the driving experience area and not gaining much stealth with this.

Although I find a D3 very appealing (although I shouldn't really, but I just like Alpinas) as Sato has said a ove, I can't see how a black BMW on big wheels is going to be any less desirable to the undesirables that you are trying to ward off??

Bit late to post this but we spent the day at Goodwood on Saturday with the Vauxhall G'Rowley Special for the end of year VSCC Sprint. Absolutely fab day and the weather was on our side too.

Here's a couple of pics:

Our G'Rowley Special lining up for the first practice run

Among some great machinery in the assembly area

Beautiful, yet aggressive looking, 289 in the paddock display

My favourites, the delighful 7's

And finally this sums up just how great the weather was

So, cool missus brag...

Mrs9 gave me one of my anniversary presents last night... Stay with me, it won't go all Welshbeef...

I have no idea how she managed this (not because it's complex but she'd never heard of them before some Googling) but she entered my 990 miles Clio V6 into the Goodwood Hot Hatch Breakfast on 6th November and it has been accepted for display!

I haven't spent much time there, other than one GFS, despite lending them one of my Clio Williams a couple of years ago for a video feature so I have no idea what this means, what I do or what to expect!

Either way; was a really nice thing for her to do and a pleasant surprise! I thought she wasn't listening to me boring her with car stories and filling our drive and garage with (generally broken) cars!

I've no idea what you have to do other than probably get there early so you can park along the S/F straight then get yourself a bap and wander about but the opening sentance dd make me laugh.
