Pick up on Monday... now appearing in my dreams nightly... the volcano orange coupe #035 has gone, what a great car that was. Here is the replacement
I'm particularly excited because I've had one of these badges fitted to the bonnet at McLaren before I pick it up. Same badge as the F1 and ever so slightly different to the 650S/675 bonnet badge.

Loon, the Vauxhall looks great - I had in my head that it was a pretty big old thing based on previous photos, but that overhead shot helps to show how compact it is!
Classifieds surfing:
This sold (asking was £20?)
http://www.odaviscars.com/stockdetails.asp?StockID...
There's so much inflation across the board (and every second advert mentioning bloody 'investment') that idle browsing for older stuff in the classifieds is not as pleasurable as it used to be.

Thanks chum and without boring people too much....This is how our Vauxhall would have looked originally, a 4 seater tourer but was really the first 'supercar' as such as despite it's somewhat staid looks was a very fast car for the time (100+mph). The model designation was 30/98 with the 98 referring to the horsepower. It's little known that Vauxhall of this period were very sporty and desirable cars.....
Ours is a 'Special' with unique bodywork, shortened chassis etc. This is a nice picture of it....
Kind of agree that the current market is heavy going. In saying that, I did try to make a few enquiries about this, but presume I was too slow off the mark and it's now sold:

Looks like I'll just be sticking with my current two cars for the moment, and maybe see what next year brings. Will be interested to see what that AMG E36 estate makes at auction next week thoughbarchetta_boy said:

There's still interesting metal at reasonable prices about. And with the value of the pound I don't see the market collapsing anytime soon.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-BMW-8-Series-850I-P...

I've no idea what you have to do other than probably get there early so you can park along the S/F straight then get yourself a bap and wander about but the opening sentance dd make me laugh.
Yeah, I think it's as simple as that really!? I do like my bacon so I am sure it will be a nice day out!L100NYY said:
No pressure for your gift to her then
She has the gift that keeps on giving, obviously Good finds W00DY, always figured the 850 as an 'entry' level means of being fleeced for the V12 big coupe experience.
Not sure if Ben has posted this before?
1934 Austin Seven Ulster Racing
A friend of mine pointed me at it: he's into restoring the older stuff and owns a few bits. Apparently a reasonably recent build but he was impressed by it. I don't think he has any first hand experience though.
All I can say is the Vauxhall that Ben posted and this Seven have got me a lot more interested in this sort of conveyance.
Oh and barchetta_boy that is a nice Mclaren!!!!!!
