Just to clarify, the F10 528i was a nasp I6 3.0 until 2012, when it became a turbo I4 with less power but more torque, and slightly quicker 0-62mph time.
Thanks! So there are one or two out there. Good to know. smile

Nope, it's fugly. The F30 doesn't look good in SE trim, or whatever they call it these days.

I actually prefer the latest 3 series shape to the e90.

See, now I think that's bloody lovely yes

I'd love to meet whoever ordered that new and shake his/her hand. Clearly it's someone who loves driving (fast no doubt), without caring whether others know about it. Surely a person after our own hearts.

For me, therefore, it's aesthetic appeal is more a manifestation of what it represents, rather than what it looks like.

I hope it's de-badged.

I'm all about understated. It's just ugly.

It is O/T, but I'm hoping to tap into some E36 3 series knowledge here if anyone can help please?

I want to fit a bottom mount Recaro into a coupe. I know I shall need some floor mounts, but can anyone offer advice on where to find some please?

TIA

It's been years since I last looked, but I've never seen off-the-shelf bottom-mount adaptors. Don't forget you'll need a way to mount the seatbelt receiver, too.

In other news my 335i has left the building. Had a fantastic 20 months and 24k miles with the car and naturally have pangs of sellers remorse from time to time. Still thinking about an F31 Alpina D3, but in the meantime have bought a smoker. Not quite bangernomics, but a 181k mile (with FBMWSH!) E91 330i. It's scrubbed up ok!

Are those 162s?

I've concluded they're my favourite E9X rim.

Today at least.

I am in full agreement. I like everything about that car.
The latest BMW family "face" is a munter IMO. Too pronounced, too much brightwork.

Yup. They're a great looking wheel. Suit the car IMO.

Thanks.

I have the seatbelt receptacle on the bottom mount slider already. I'll have to do some more digging, as I'd really like to fit these seats, seeing as I already have them

An anti-Porsche. I bet this would be rather pleasant on a summer's evening. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C768946#

Didn't know these give you the horn. I've always liked them until I saw one recently [well probably 5 years ago] with the soft top up. What is it about old cars with soft tops. They just look poor fitting, ill thought out and incapable of stopping anything smaller than a mouse from getting in.
