Cheb - superb! Pix please (BBS and the hog)
Not collected either... Will try and figure a way of linking the ebay listings...Did a bit more digging around the 928 beards... Turns out I have bagged something pretty rare...
2422 ROW '89 S4
718 5-speeds, 362 are GTs and 356 are S4s. 267 of the S4 have LSD, 35 of those have a driver's side sport seats (but only 34 have the passenger sport seat, that must look interesting...), 21 of those have sport shocks, 14 of those have a sunroof, 12 of those have a tinted windshield, 3 have the impact absorbers.
All 3 are UK market and all three have the M330 Blaupunkt Toronto SQR46.
So from an options standpoint, it's 1 of 3. There. Add the Baltic Blue - it's 1 of 1.

That looks pretty decent to drive. Not sure if this vid is on any other threads but was sent it by my younger brother.

I'm thinking he's geared pretty short. The 935s absolutely romp away at the top end.

It's easy to see where the Porsche has the fixed rear axle ( I think that's correct) around the tight turns then it just goes off. Must have been mental around Le Mans.I'm thinking he's geared pretty short. The 935s absolutely romp away at the top end.
On another note found this today and about the 1st low volume sports car I've seen for a while that I like the look of (dodgy name aside) but then I'm getting old and love a bit of retro...

That is one sexy beast. I think the E46 is one of the most handsome (if not the most handsome) 3 series model line so far. And I'm actually a huge fan of the E30 and E36 (and don't dislike the E9X).The spanish E46 M, with CSL-like addenda (front air-dam, boot lid etc.) on nice wheels and a drop on some tasty suspension is pretty hard to beat as an attainable, desirable performance car. For a saloon at least...

Sort of agree.
I think the e36 is the purer design. Both are trumped by the '34 and to some extents the '39.
Either way, we reached peak saloon/BMW in that era.
Also see 1985-95;
Mercedes
Audi
I dig. The E36 is arguably something like the 996 of the 3 series line up - not universally loved but a more transparent and original take than what went immediately before or after. I think the e36 is the purer design. Both are trumped by the '34 and to some extents the '39.

Totally agree that E34 and E39 are two particularly well-resolved model lines (and the M-cars are fabulous). Peak BM for me at least was between about 1987 to 2003. Agree with Audi and Merc.
