Gents, I think our collective geek is showing with all this rev-matching chat Would tickles me most is the lack of queefism - i.e. mortals attempting to enjoy driving rather than the usual bravado. We must try harder!
brad - I'd not kick a 997 GT3 out of bed though
moose - That 996 is tasty as single malt on a winters eve. I even like the duck tail which I wasn't sure about to begin with on the 996. Those wheels and that drop are unequivocally fabulous though. Keep the stickers and leave the keys on the coffee table, ta.
Love a bit of judiciously weaponised oinky-oink.

I don't think that pic does them any favours on my screen though as they look 'mismatched' front to back.brad - I'd not kick a 997 GT3 out of bed though

Looks great, just out of interest what is the cost to bring it up to this Spec ?
Not cheap - full house looks like £20k on top of the car!Still tasty, although I'd pass on any non-mechanical mods personally to save a few shekels (if possible), but the temptation of carbon bits is strong even if I'm less keen on the aero-kit skirts and air dam.

Aye.
AA man made a good temporary fix, doesn't sound like a 5" bore chav exhaust now.
Only phoned the garage this morning to book it in and investigate a blowing exhaust.
Typical! Totally blown exhaust I'd say! AA man made a good temporary fix, doesn't sound like a 5" bore chav exhaust now.

Good luck. Will be checking into thew Trophy forums to see if anything's going. got a nice VW Slowlo for anyone looking to trade down in terms of sass and up in terms of passenger door count, soft touch plastics, bluetooth and DAB
Not sure if this is anywhere on PH but was sent a link by younger bro'.

How do - a Monday teaser you good internet folk may feel inclined to indulge me with. I've never spent more than £15k on buying a car, but may be in a position to realise one of my bucket list ownership experiences. At present the ultimate goal (997 Turbo or GT3/S) is still out of reach (they've all shot up as well), so I want my first M car. I can spend up to £27-30k, and fancy a late competition pack, DCT M3. Is it worth thinking about borrowing £10k to get into an M4? I need to think a little about resale in a few years, possibly to make the Porsche dream real.
Also, if I find a private M3 in the south (Guildford area), is there anyone recommended to do inspections, and ways to get warranty with value??
