Moose

VladD has a Parr Turbo'd 987. Why did you never mention this?

But by all accounts, there's plenty of satisfied M97 customers in the US doing fair old mileages on Parr's conversations.

Not my cup of tea, either, but you'd think it foolhardy for a respected name like Parr just to slap on a turbo and hope for the best.

I read the pdf. Did my link work? Only runs 4psi apparently. That's pretty low. I didn't even see a mention of an intercooler [it does mention an extra engine rad] so if they are using it in USA then it must be dealing with hotter temps than we have here.

I have clsoed it now, but believe they said it had a chargecooler.
Is it the same kit as this?

I think that is the big power conversion.

I'm not expert on these though, like moose I can't see a turbo adding anything to the car really.
Olly in "I don't want more power" shocker.

You've changed, man.

Yes in the pdf on the basic 987 it mentions the Big Power Orange Cayman. I'd guess this is it. In this pic of the Orange Coxster you can see the red hose going to a big intercooler. I think in the pdf it said this car had more like 500bhp.

I know it's an 'S' but on a black car that doesn't worry me so much and it does and an extra element to the driving experience;

GT3 is still one of my favourites just a shame I didn't get in there when they were £15k and it's a shame this hasn't got the coded buckets;

This is also very cool, in my humble opinion obviously;

I think GT2s have been around that sort of price for a year or two, so will be interesting to see what (if?) it finally goes for

They've crept up gradually over the history of the thread. They looked to be conspicuous bargains for a while, less-so now. Never tried them due to my aversion to forced induction.
