A9 RSE on a C220 Mercedes. Looked like a grumpy old man driving it which made it even better.

I really really need a sticker on my phone that says turn phone left for a normal pic, right for an upside down one. Or is it the other way? That aside, any idea who owns this beautiful car / plate and any ideas what the black box is above the number plate?

That Roller looks awful in my opinion. I've never understood the not uncommon trend for people with short registration numbers to display them on cut-down number plates.

In fact, I've always prefer oversized plates, particularly for the back.

Few characters on an oversized plate oozes class and would improve the look of that Roller no end! As it is it just looks tacky, and also that strange plate holder and black handle/contraption is unbecoming of such a car...even if it's based on the BMW 7 Series underneath the skin!

Each to his own I suppose, I quite like it. I'm not too keen on the surround though. ☺

that's an American sized number plate with an American chrome surround, very popular out here in California, even the dealers supply them. Personally I think it looks gaudy
