Lovely. I won't ask for custardlaugh

When was it on the red golf?

And what's the history of the plate as far as you know? I ask as we don't get too many single x single owners herebiggrin

I last saw it on a Grey Range Rover.

Zoom in on the image, something doesn't look right to me.

Only if you were as thick as a brick. No looking at the MOT history? No Vin number check? No insurance claims? Put the number in an insurance comparison site, that'll cough up the real year. A personal number is always a point of discusion, very rarely are they sold with the car. If you were that stupid, maybe it's better you don't have a car anyway!! I will also add any car I've sold/bought, has a wodge of paper work with it as well, mostly gagarge receipts.

Them is the rules.

Always has been since before I first sold cars in 1979.

Never known anyone question it until now either!!

I like being the first. And I'm poor, so can't afford the stupid prices paid for numbers with single or low digits. Incidentally, a Reg No company I spoke to, hinted that this may change.

Really?

I think if selling, transferring or retaining plates didn't get DVLA so much revenue they would stop it.

Can't see it myself, sounds like he wants to keep you dangling!

How's he keeping me dangling? The plate I want can't be fitted. If it did become available, I'd have it. But not if they upped the price, I'm not that desperate to own it. All the plates that are available are just not worth the money asked, so they're not going to sell me one of those.

You answered your own question.

He has the plate you'd like, you can't use it & he knows it.

Spin you some bks about the rules being relaxed, they won't be I'm sure, & there you are..... Dangling!!

If you want it and the price is right, just stick it on retention.

I would like it for the car I'm buying. It's not appropritae for any other make of car. I'm not allowed to have it due to DVLA rules. So as I've already said, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN IT ANYMORE!!!

CL07TED on a Rodda's Cream truck

Brought a smile to my face on a drizzly, dark evening traveling home along the M4.
