I remember seeing CL10 CUP on a green variant in London.

Think it was a press car at the time.

Looked great - rare to come across a 'new style' plate that says something with no botching whatsoever.

Just changed cars. Browsing the reg number websites, came across a number that is my name plus the cars id. Now I'm assuming it's an extremly small market for this combination. I've no idea if the dealer has it on retention or commision sale. Anyway, I feel it's way over priced. So do I wait, and if it's still available in 6 months time, assume it's unsellable, and make an offer I feel it's worth to me?

They are very rarely owned by the dealer. Usually they are advertising on behalf.

I enquired last year about a plate that was advertised for £4,995. Ended up getting it for circa £1,500 IIRC... markets are set by what someone is willing to pay for something, not what a seller thinks something is worth.

Saw this today. It's pretty crap, but reminded me of that deluded chap who was trying to sell his plate 'H15 LDN" on here a few years ago.

I also know of CL10 RSG on a blue RS Gordini edition car.

"GA55 NOT" on a P85D yesterday, maybe not "real good" but I liked it.

I like GA55 NOT as well smile
On a similar note to CL10 CUP/KUP, there is a white Clio 200 with CL10 OMG around Leeds too, always like that plate.

A couple of other recent ones:
1 XG on a Merc E220D in North Leeds.
KKK 111 on a Bentley GTC on the M621 - the driver wasn't wearing a white hood though wink

24 W. Terrible photo, but as I was taking it I realised the owner was getting out and I felt a bit silly, so...

Saw this last night in London. Tried to find some history on it but no luck. Anyone know its value/last sale cost?

Close - 23. I listen to music that 23 year old girls also enjoy. If I listened to whatever radio station I presume your old ass listens to, it would've protected my virginity no end.

Funnily enough, I took this picture because I was parked up waiting for a (23 year old) girl to take to a gig!

Apologies for the nibble. Back to the plates...

biggrin
