Does it actually have harnesses, or are the seats just like that for the bling value? Either way they're rather nice.

They're Recaro sportsters, which were fitted in Corsa VXR's, RS Clio's and the like.

With that spoiler 4 exhausts and those seats you'de end up looking like a sales rep who's having a serious mid life crisis
To the uneducated and/or partially blind* perhaps.

*I think you're imagining the two extra exhausts!

I know I will probably get roasted for this, but personally, my money would be going to a 1M. The 15k (at least) saved could buy a set of KW coilovers, a re-map (if you need more power) and a whole lot of track days. I don't see 1M's depreciating much either.

yep you will lose money because you modded your car and everybody will say they want an original spec M1 then go and mod it anyway...B3 GT3 is factory spec and becomes acceptable....apparently. ..

I take all of the points about the looks - it's certainly not subtle. But it's a properly sorted and yet still practical car

This is about as close as you're going to get to a manufacturer's E92 CSL for a reasonable price. It's bad ass, yet not quite as stripped-out as BMW's own GTS, and a good chunk of cash cheaper to buy. For me it ticks more boxes too, yet almost matches the orange car's Ring time (for whatever that's worth)

I love some of the nods to Alpina's own history too, and they weren't all subtle, comfy rep-mobiles back in the day either you know?! wink I just wish it had a gold deko-set on it for the full Alpina effect

Only a CLK Black would make me think twice at this price-point, the similarities to which are many IMO

agreed....clk black pushing £100k used....B3 GT3 not cheap but bespoke and only "2" registered in uk!!!! ....looking at side view reminds me of E36..now classic's..got future classic all over it...price wise quite honestly how can any of us make sense of current sports car market... given it's purpose and build spec why would we not think it will have classic status one day...looks wise the cars we all hated are now the ones everybody bloody wants...lol

Can anyone tell me what is going on with the one central aircon vent? Seems it's been replaced with a screen of some sorts?
This little info unit was one of only 3 extra's available ..other being second set of wheels with "Mich cup's on for £5000...and £3500 for comfort pack (info form OBD2 one would guess.....) so the car was more likely to be £70k+ new

Not to divert the thread away from the car - as I've already said, I love it - but look at where the humble Golf is?!

Haha!

I bet BMW wouldn't have expected that when they put the GTS round a few years ago.

Beautifully engineered car, an epic driving experience, but hugely costly to look after and a little over priced all things considered. Special but not that special.

Stunning motor (with the exception of the Halfords spoiler and seats) and far more desirable for me than an M3. But £60k? They're jesting.....

Nice car, a little garish in places perhaps but the price is massively optimistic to say the least

It MIGHT be worth more in future (tho it's a tiny market where cars take eons to sell) but it will cost WAY more to run upto that point thanks to the bespoke bits being stupid-expensive/hard to find as the car gets older.

Still - nice to know it exists ;0

Thanks for the info from everyone.

I noticed it's in the LH vent, I presume it was initially made for LHD cars and this was one option piece that wasn't revised for RHD..
