What's the cheapest 2 X 2 plate I can buy? Ie 2 numbers and 2 letters, something like AW 65 or whatever
Would need to be one that wouldn't be someones initials - like XH 78 .... then change your name to Xylophone Humphrey if you were born in 1978.

The plate is my second name basically so would only really appeal to me.
And anyone with the same surname as you and a car.

Spend any time on the C124PPY plate thread and you'll be convinced this is so.

Basic literacy has taken a serious battering too, as any 8 year old in any English remedial class in the country would be able to confirm you really cannot indulge the vulgar pretense that numbers are the same as letters and that you can actually use them to spell anything on a numberplate or anything else for that matter.

If you intend to keep the plate for a long time, and can afford it, then go for it. Although try and get some money off, I'm sure they would do a deal.

If you are buying something which you will ultimately will want to shift along in a few years, then probably better go for something less personal/with broader appeal (or very cheap), otherwise you're unlikely to ever get your money back.

Well, this morning I didn't know I was in the market for a plate. Checked your website, found a plate I fancied and couldn't stop myself clicking through.

Thanks. rolleyes

I guess I'm just not bothered by what others do to their cars in the main. Number plates are no worse than half the other stuff that those that are critical carry out. It's actually embarrassing that people would stop and take pictures of others cars to then post on the web to make themselves appear superior. There's at least one guy in that toxic thread of numb nuts who has his own personalised plate, yet bhes about others. It's tragic.
