A Jaguar XJ hearse.

Not that crazy until you look under the bonnet.

5.0 V8 lump producing 380bhp. Currently with its original owner in Oxfordshire.

In the 1980's my neighbour had a customised Ford Consul which had been converted to a pickup. Massive wolfrace wheels on the rear, it had 'The Incredible Hulk' in large letters down both sides and a menacing picture of the superhero on the back of the cab. The bodywork was green metalflake and there was some kind of V8 with a stainless steel drainpipe side-exit exhaust.

This is the Outspan Orange car

I remember seeing that (or another one, was there more than one?) parked up in Berkhamstead in the 90's. Not sure if it was a runner then.

The owner, as expected, was properly off the rails. And yes, that's a Millennium Falcon.

How about this, a Ferrari F40 replica based on a Triumph TR7. Proudly called the TR40!

Not my pic, I did take one but can't find it. Spotted it about 4 years ago at a show in Essex

There was a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow that had a Merlin engine out of a WW2 Spitfire about 40 years ago.

The Rolls Royce company took the owner to court to stop him displaying their badge on the front of the car!

Also have a picture of a VW Beetle with a turbofan jet engine out of a helicopter as well as it's original petrol motor.

When asked how fast it goes, he said;

"I built it to thrill me not kill me."

There was a BAE Hawk/Jaguar in the west Midlands in the late 80s/90s.
Cant find it on google though.
Saw it in the flesh outside a pub, was unsurprisingly, nuts and cool in equal measure.

That was John Dodd's home brewed car, as I featured above, which featured a Rolls Grille and winged lady!

FTFY

A lot of police forces were annoyed at RR about this, it's only the engine, bonnet, bumper and grille which are true RR.
Google John Dodd's 'Beast' it's an amazing project.
