How are you supposed to heel and toe with that brake/throttle positioning?

One more rare option that's just popped into my head, is built in children's booster seats in the rear seats.

Seen them advertised and in brochures a few times, but never actually seen a car that they've been specced on.

I've seen many a Volvo with these.

Actually, that looks like such a simple solution, it's a wonder more manufacturers don't include some thing similar.

It's the finishing touches which really set Scania apart, like that mirror so you can see how much coffee is left in the pot. They also have a microwave which goes above the windscreen.

Porsche offers leather covered air vent slats on its cars (plastic vent slats are so common darling) I’ve never seen one that has it.

My dad's 1991 Mk2 Golf Gti 16v had factory fitted Air Con, electric Recaros from G60 and headlight washers. He owned this car back in early 90's purchased from Heartwell Smithfield VW B'ham and I've never seen another with this factory spec.

On what? Both my Saab 9-5s have had them, and it isn't an uncommon option.

Never seen a 9-5 estate with the pull-out boot floor though.

any way ill add that one leather steering column ...now thats gotta be rare on a 911 as a option
Love my leather covered steering column, inner door sills and backlit illuminated carbon door sills. The steering column is actually one of the better value bang for your buck XXX covered in leather options from Porsche since its right in front of you and it has the all important coloured stitching. It's not really about the leather, deviated stitching is king.

Was debating that steering column option on my 718 Cayman spec. #sad !

My BMW has functioning indicators if that counts?
My BMW used to give way to other motorists & let people out at junctions.

It left them dangerously confused!

I've got them in my 211 E Class - very handy.

Along with the rear facing seats in the boot.

And the sun pack (rear window blinds and 2 x extra sun visors).

And quad zone climate now I think about it.

And heated front massage seats.

With memory and bolsters that tighten when you corner hard

And convenience pack so you can set the seats and steering column to move out of the way.

Good family bus.

Volvo 850 had this too. It was built into the centre armrest. Clever folding out design if I recall.

Velour upholstery in an A4 Avant , mine had it fitted for some reason , when it came to px the salesman who checked the car over reckoned he'd never seen another A4 fitted with it.

Funnily enough I've seen a picture of my old car on here a few years ago and I sold it in 2000 and someone up the thread mentioned Hartwell VW in Birmingham , well this car came from Hartwell Audi next door., coincidences eh ?

I saw two Mondeo ST TDCIs one leather which I bought leather recaro seats the other velour the latter had this in he rear seats. Seemed a really good idea but it wasn't an option with recaro seats. Which means one of the biggest sellers in the UK has this feature as std. So no not rare - why it's not offered more freely on other brands and models is bizarre

For example Superb. It's been an option for some time, not expensive either. It became standard on the Laurent and Element version a few years back, but if you hate, as I do, that brown leather interior on L&K then you have to look for one where someone has selected it.

Doing a search for petrol DSG estate, there's only one in the entire UK dealer network, in white with the awful brown interior last time I looked.

Never encountered heated rear seats in anything that I'd call normal vehicles. I'm sure they'll be common in large luxury saloons like S class etc.

I once had heated leather rear seats it in a Hyundai Tucson (Disclaimer, the car was given to me by my company, I didn't choose it)
