I have a scenario, you added 'everyone' to it, not me. The same could be said of people that do mount their number plates obviously, but not 'everyone'.

I hope you don't face the same indecision with your tyre wear, MOT and accident avoidance.
As I said it was a facetious question based on an emotive example choice...so both posts of equal value=none?

No, because those example actually make a difference to both mine and other road users safety...so another post of zero value?
Yep, absolutely zero value in a post criticising people that can't carry out basic tasks to maintain a road legal vehicle.

You've been called out on your lazy-ass attitude to maintaining a legal vehicle. Fix the issue and avoid the justified criticism.

Nope, zero. See my comment about Captains of the Road. Let's remember this isn't about the safety is it, it's the same as a 70mph rolling road block because that's the speed limit.

Lolz, called out biggrin That's another nope fella; I called you out on your comment. Nobody is denying it's illegal, you are just trying to justify your name calling.

As for lazy I just replaced the cat, exhaust, front/rear brakes, brake lines and fluid on my Honda...so far from it.

Brilliant, so you're more than capable of peeling 2 pieces of 3M double sided and sticking your number plate on?

I find it hilarious when people complain that others are trying to be unnecessarily authoritative when in fact they're just trying to find justification for not doing the simple things in life.

"It's not my fault, because...". Good luck with that one.

No front plate can look much better on some cars.

Front plate on dashboard or tinted plates looks wk on pretty much everything.

No, you just like to criticise, if it wasn't his plates, it would be someone else and something else. Just get on with your own life and stop nitpicking over what other's do FFS!

Had my plate on my dash for over two years after having the front end repainted, whilst its not ideal I fail to understand why people get so butt-hurt about it?
Why not replace the plate after the paint was done?
People get upset because it's illegal.

If they annoy the number plate police on here then I’m all for it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this, full of miserable old farts.

Some US states have that ruling. Florida is one I think.

Do you think the number plate on the car on the left is as easy to be read by a camera as the other two vehicles?
What does it look like under IR?

If legal and not a chav-plate one on the dashboard would not merit a place on the 'Crappy' thread.

But this thread draws all the tedious chaps out from that little cesspit that helpfully contains them smile

OK, cards on the table. What does thou dislike about the crappy thread and it's contributors? One thing it has taught me is that, when driving, beware of chav-platers!

As said above, I have been rather indicisive I’ve about what/where to mount. Entirely vanity based of course, it’s such a pretty front end without the plate!

Bald tyres, no MOT, no insurance....those are things worth getting upset about, but surely life is too short for misplaced number plates to be a source of genuine ire. Mis-spaced plates are weak imho but I laugh at them rather than being upset. I realise some might see that as somewhat ironic smile

That they are a bunch of self appointed knights of the road, huge hypocrites and make sweeping bell end generalisations about others. Not to mention they take pictures of other people’s property to try and mock them, clearly something missing in their lives really. Life’s too short for people like that, muppets.
