OK, cards on the table. What does thou dislike about the crappy thread and it's contributors? One thing it has taught me is that, when driving, beware of chav-platers!
That they are a bunch of self appointed knights of the road, huge hypocrites and make sweeping bell end generalisations about others. Not to mention they take pictures of other people’s property to try and mock them, clearly something missing in their lives really. Life’s too short for people like that, muppets. Pericoloso said:
Take a look in the crappy plate thread and tell us the Alfa displaying a completely false plate is acceptable.
It's on the last couple of pages.
You know, I wont bother, because.....I just don't care what other people chose to do with their number plates!!!! It's on the last couple of pages.
It would also mean skimming the topic and all the dead human heads that populate it It's fine as a place for the like minded to keep in touch and co-ordinate mental health appointments, along with various dogging arrangements, but let's not let it bleed into yet another thread, one is enough.

I'm not sure that's true, you know.
If you believe that it is entirely normal to spend your day trying to trace other peoples number plates, uploading images of their property, looking out for things that are not 'normal' in your world and discussing how daft their personal choices are online this would indicate the opposite of a balanced mind, also a fair degree of irony. It's basically none of your business, of my business, anyone else's. Unless you happen to work in law enforcement.

Do you believe people spend their day doing that or do you think, perhaps, people may just take a few minutes out of their day to comment on it?Would you like to enter a discussion about the traits of sociopathy and psychopathy, given your overtly aggressive stance on the matter?

It's merely an observation and discussion point. Hence; forum.yonex said:

The thing about illegal plates isn't so much the plate itself though as that's just a bit of plastic. It's very much more the demonstration by the existence of the illegal plate of a nihilistic self serving attitude typified by the more aspirational and vulgarly materialistic in society and no matter whether you care or don't care about any of that yourself it's another fact that illegal plates clearly show the Platee is either entirely ignorant of the law or incredibly arrogant in assuming the law doesn't apply to them.
It's a free country though. Everybody can believe or do or contribute whatever they wish but no matter what anybody believes or does or contributes the simple fact remains that people reveal themselves by their choices. I'm of the simple opinion that Chav is as Chav does, so if you don't want be considered a Chav then it's obvious - don't have a Chavplate.
Even somebody who believes you can spell anything meaningful with numbers ought to be able to grasp that concept.

An 'overly aggressive stance' because I don't partake in documenting other folks number plates? Like I said, life's too short!
But not too short to persistently and aggressively comment on it? Generally speaking, when people I don't know are discussing something I don't care about, I don't repeatedly tell them they're mental, I just raise an eyebrow and then move on and comment on things I do care about.
I'd suggest you do the same but I suspect I know what the reaction will be.

Check the numbers. It's a fact the C124PPY / Chavplate thread is right up there with the most popular and long running ones on PH and It's also another fact the thread is dominated by very few notable marques.

I'm one of those fools that runs a tinted rear and no front plate
Are you a part of some 'Society' or 'Royalty'?There must be a huge, twirly font sticker across either the front of rear window denoting your belonging to the 'Lowered Society' or such like?
They generally go hand in hand with one another.
