Good morning!. The job that I do doesn't usually involve 9-5 working, so for the first time in a long while I've driven during the 'rush hours', and in particularly teatime driving is a real eye opener!. The number of cars that don't pull away when the lights go green, or just slowly drift out of lanes then suddenly correct is ridiculous, and in every instance you see the driving looking down towards the carpet.

Their attention seems to be consumed completely by their mobile phone, in some sort of hypnotic daydream that requires someone to blast their horn to shake them out of.

In the last 6 months I have seen three vehicles hit the kerb as they were travelling along a straight road at a reasonable speed, e.g. 40 in a 50. Never seen one before in 30 years of driving. Hopefully Darwin will come into play.

Not necessarily phone related... Have you ever tried retrieving and unwrapping a Werthers original from the passenger footwell when the pack has just ripped apart and scattered them everywhere?
