From the website.

"The TKR was built as a supercar, built primarily for competition and track use, the SKR is based upon the TKR but was designed to be a road car."

Good god. What on earth does all that mean?

"In 2010 the TKR was set to be the car of choice to break the blind land speed record, unfortunately the car crashed on a test run and did not complete this record, but from this many people have seen the capabilities of the Keating TKR."

Is that a joke?

I love these guys, it's just a shame you have to wait a few years for the next fantastic instalment in their none-history.

Who can forget the last supercar launch, complete with Bolton's finest red light district workers for entertainment.

I forgot about this! I didn't make the connection, but I remember that thread. That thing is/was a shambles. This company is a shambles. I hope they never take a penny from anyone. The cars are worse than the worst home brew supercar project. Everything on that one from 2013 appears to be a one off part. Hand made, hand bodged, and hand fked.

Surely separated at birth? If only Murray wore shoes like that then the F1 might have amounted to something....

Not not really wanting to knock them.....surely anyone who was tempted to buy one could be easily put off simply by
'Here sir, have a look at our launch video'

perfect, just perfect.

I'll have to put a deposit on this car to make sure I'll be one of the first customers of this brilliant company!

I run a serious company myself, so I know what I'm talking about

Is this the outfit that had a prototype build and did a press reveal at which the car dropped all it's fluids and had to be rolled out of a big tin shed? Or am I mixing my dreamers up?

I don't understand the value of going to press when there is no product to sell, surely no one is daft enough to front up money for this ?

I saw this too and thought wow what a beautiful car (interior looked a bit half arsed but body great) yet we read about Keating and its fantasy cars instead

IIRC they did deliver a customer car to china a blue one

Who finances this stuff? They've clearly got premises and someone has thrown together some panels, a computer rendering and a raft of made up numbers that the likes of the VAG group, Ferrari, McLaren etc can't even currently reach with their immense resources.

This sounds like a ruse to get money out of the City to further finance a fantasy working lifestyle. I mean, are you going to trust your life to a one off car from a company with a doubtful history of manufacture that claims those figures? Are you even going to get a warranty or somewhere to have it serviced or repaired?

Dreamers, Harmless, but dreamers.
